Hopefully your MIL came through surgery well.   Continued thoughts and prayers that it hasn't spread.

I'm glad to hear they were able to drain off some of the infectious junk and hope the antibiotics do the rest of the job so that you don't need to be lanced...ICK!

I second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth everyone on what they said about your MIL.  I can try to hold your hand - as I'm in Baltimore myself.  Just need a day's notice and a pair of blinders. 

I realized that I can't stand seeing anyone going through things with their drains and tubings.  A while back, while I was visiting Helen (grammom), she had a nurse coming in to change her lines for feeding, and I sort of felt a swoon coming on, so I told her I had to go.

If we were telepathic, you'd definitely feel alot of holding hands to help you through this.
