OK folks......thanks for the well wishes for my MIL & myself.

As for my MIL, she just entered surgery at 1:30.....we talked to her cancer doc & she is taking a very large portion of her breast out & testing her lymph nodes....depending what that says will determine how far it has spread & what treatment will be required. Keep the prayers going!

As for me & my lump......well, OUCH!!!!!!!!!! The ER doc said it felt like a pocket of fluid & then preceeded to take a needle, stab it in my belly, and draw out a bunch of fluid! For all of you on the western shore.....that wasnt thunder ya all heard, it was me screaming! The fluid was definitely infection.....it was very yellowish/red and thick. They are sending it off to culture it. All results will be sent to my surgeon for my appointment next week. I was put on a high dose of anti-biotics also. Now, as the ER doc said, "lets hope it doesnt fill back up" ! If it does, I will be having it lanced open next week..........any volunteers to hold my hand????????????

Again, thanks for all the prayers!

Oh, no, poor Hojo!!!!!  I am so sorry - particularly about your MIL.  I'll pray that it's not metastisized too much and that it's been caught early enough.

As for you - well, do I need to tell you what high dose antibiotics can do to a woman?  Yeah, didn't think so.  Um...unless they did already, get a script for Diflucan.  Because it's not nice to scratch in public, you know????

Hugs to you, sweetie and call me if you need anything!!

OMG Heather!
My thoughts and prayers are still with your MIL. Hopefully all will go well, and she will have a speedy recovery! As for you, just be glad that I don't live near you, because honestly I probably would offer to hold your hand. The only bad news is that one of two things would definitely happen. 1-While I was holding your hand, I would probably squeeze too tight and break all your fingers!  OR  2- I would make it about 5 min. after the Dr.started to lance that thing and by then I would have lost my cookies(if you know what I mean) and fainted. But, I can wish you all the luck, and hopefully it won't fill back up!!  Feel better, Leslie:)

Heather, are you kidding me? Balto? Well, if you need to have that thing lanced, then the least I can do is go with you for moral support!  YEA! Anyway I need like a day or two notice, because there are things that I have to get in order. ex. someone to watch my dog and I need to get the appropiate meds for a situation like this  You don't  have any drains do you? If you do have a drain that would come under the immediate deal breaker in my contract.  So, all you need to do is give me a little notice, so I can start prepping. Will I be driving that day, because I will have to adjust my  meds accordingly!

Heather, I would gladly hold your hand and I have many things lanced and it is no fun. I am hoping that your MIL will be okay and you too. Prayers are going up for you and her both. Take care and you all are in my thoughts...

Heather sweetie I know today must have been quite of an exhausting day for you and your family.  I am praying that your MIL has come out of surgery fine and I pray that the cancer has not metastasized. Pleas ekeep me posted on how she is doing.

I am so sorry you have another infection there. I figured that was the case. Thank goodness you called the doctor and they had you come in.  I hope you do need for it to get lanced next week.  I know  how painful that needle was.

On top of Tia's advice make sure to buy yogurt and have a cup of that daily. If I could be there for you I would.

My thought and prayers are with you sweetie.

(((((((hugs)))))))

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
