Going For My Final Weigh In and Body Scan Pre-OP

Ok surgery is in two days and I'm headed to the surgeons office to get this nifty body scan.  Apparently you are stark naked and it measures EVERYTHING on your body...good lord. It's for comparison purposes and I definitely want it done. 

We'll see how much their scale is off from mine!  Isn't that blower when their's is always higher ugh!

I'll check in when I get back either way! I already know the pre scan is going to look like a round bubble on the paper!  I'm just hoping my weight dropped more!

Body scan SCARY! Like I envisioned...blob on the screen.  Measured every thing down to you ankles which is the skinniest part of me!

Scale well down 7lbs on their scale from last week.  My scale is still 2lbs less but I'll keep my current stats on the ticker.  I don't think they will weigh me Friday morning.

Wow I am tired today.  Looking forward to a little R&R at the salon getting my toes done! 

Nikki, you are too funny. I also made sure I had a fresh mani,pedi and waxing of my eyebrows before surgery. I thought to myself, they can say I'm fat, but they can't say that I'm not clean and put together. You never know who might be in the OR or THE RECOVERY ROOM! LOL  I wish I had that body scan, but I don't think my Doc requires them, or maybe just certain WLS get it, who knows? It sounds like that scan will be very useful when you start losing, so you can track it all over. Anyway I am happy for you that all your pre op testing is complete! If I don't make it on to post tomorrow, I hope that you have a very uneventful surgery, and a very speedy recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending you positive energy, Leslie:)
