hi everyone, i had my surgery aug 17 at jh. dr. magnuson was my surgeon. everything when very well. i didnt even have no pain. the only trouble i have now is the pureed diet. i cant stand it. good luck to those having surgery soon. sweetheart59

Hi there and welcome! I just had surgery last week on 9/1, so I'm only a week out. I'm on the pureed diet right now and I HATE it, but thank God it won't last forever.

Hi Cira,

I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking! I'm not feeling much pain and I've tolerated everything I've eaten to this point. So far, so good! Like I said, hating the pureed foods, but hopefully that will only last 1 more week!

Dr Magnuson is my surgeon and I am waiting for approval from Insurance...... How did you like things, how was the hospital, how was Dr. Magnuson, how was your hospital stay? I am so excited and scared at the same time. Tell me about your experience if you don't mind.

hi devoneberhardt, everything was just fine. the hospital is great and the nurses are so nice and kind. well, i didnt see dr. magnuson but twice while i was there. i hope everything be ok with you. one good thing was i didnt have any pain. thanks to the lord. sweetheart59

One of the things I loved on pureed stage was pintos & cheese from Taco Bell. Also try the split pea soup. Scrambled eggs with salsa & cheese is yummy too.
