3 Things for Humpday

I have been at work for hours it seems, so I am starting this today.

1. It's my Friday today and yesterday was my monday this week. Off to seattle for a friend's wedding tomorrow. I can't decide whether to just carry a sweatshirt or a heavy coat.

2. I am thankful for my inhaler. For some reason, either the frut and nut bar I had for breakfast or my office mate's ehavy perfume, my throat started closing up. One puff and I am able to breathe again.

3. My husband still manages to surprise and impress me. I thought he was such a city boy till we went camping. That man can start a fire and keep it going. He hiked, canoed and kayaked. He slept in a tent in a sleeping bag and peed in the woods with me. We cooked all our meals over the campfire. It was SO much fun, we're definitely doing more of this next year.

Good morning Sylvie!!

Have a wonderful time in Seattle..  I think you will do good with a sweatshirt.  :) I hope you feel better soon call your doctor if you still feeling like that.
Glad you had a great time camping!

Today I am grateful for:

1. the support of my friends & family.

2. my husband who is always loves me and spoils me.

3. this wonderful cloudy cool morning,  Fall is definitely in the air here.

Have a great day everyone!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Yeah I think a sweatshirt should be fine. But definitely jeans over shorts and capris.

I am good now, usually one puff and I am breathing again. Happens once in a few months now. somebody's perfume set it off this morning.

Hi Sylvie!

Thanks for posting this today. Thank goodness for the inhaler!!! Camping with your husbands sounds like you had a  blast! How freeing to be one with nature. .... and a guy.. peeing in the woods??? Say it isn't so! LoL!!!
I keep saying one day we are going to do that, but it's so expensive just starting out.

1.  I am happy about how I am choosing to deal with people and things that generally would have thrown me into a tizzy before. I am learning to not be bothered (as much) by the things that ultimately just don't matter in the big scheme of things.

2.  Last night I cooked dinner and my daughter and I spent time working on the invitations for her housewarming party.  She is such a delight.

3. Pete who always seems to surprise me.  I haven't been feeling well and he gave me a Hallmark that brought tears to my eyes! That silly sappy romantic guy!  Geez, where is the one I originally fell in love with who didn't have a romantic bone in his body??  LoL.

4.  Knowing that I am loved, and have many blessings as long as I continue to keep my eyes open to them and the beauty around me, all is well in my world.

Ren, even I peed in the woods, hehe.

The expense is in the gear so if you want to try it, let me know and you cna borrow our tent, sleeping bags and mattress :) The campgrounds were 25 bucks a night and we shared the cost with the other couple.

well it is sorta like the tikki masala chicken but without the cream. i use curry powder, garam masala tomato paste and yogurt. i put some veggies in there as well and mix in some cilantro at the end. it comes out really good to me anyway lol.
