Damn I hate my company

Not to change the subject, but what did you do about your "horse pill?"  I talked to NUT today and was told I can switch to pill form of multi vitamin instead of chewable form.  I stopped on the way home from work and bought Centrum Silver multivitamins in pill form and they are also on the large side.  Guess the "nothing bigger than an eraser tip" isn't holding true!  I took the vitamin already -- hope it went down and out!

Dr  A said to break it in half, I swallowed one half at a time and it was ok.

If you took it and didn't feel any pain then it was fine.  I take my "big" pills since I was 4 1/2 months post op. I was really scared when I tried the very first time.

You must have mental telepathy because I just took my "big pill" vitamin a few minutes ago.  And you are right, I am scared .... I'm not in pain, but I can kind of still feel it going down.  Don't think it's made it to the bottom yet.   Wonder if they make a "smaller" multivitamin.  I'm taking Centrum Silver.  How about you?  What do you take?

Ahh, thanks for asking about Andy.  He came home one week ago today, and has improved little by little each day.  He is happy to be home and out of the hospital considering that was his first ever experience in a hospital.  He is working on getting in his protein every day (it's alot more for men), and is walking.  Says he never wants to go back to a hospital!  LOL. 

We're getting ready to head out the door for our morning walk now. We are officially a mother-son team 3 months apart.  Have a good one!

LOL no mental telepathy.. Just been there and done that sort of thing.  lol   If you are scared you can cut the pill in two and then take it.   But if you are not having any issues with it then you will be ok. As long as you take your time when you are taking it and don't be busy doing anything or talking to anyone.  So that you don't end up taking a too big of a swallow and end up getting pain. 

I take an over the counter multivitamin by natures made. I used to take the centrum before but I buy a big natures made bottle and get more for the same amount of money.  Those multivitamins are all about the same.  I think the smaller ones are the one a day multivitamin if I remember correctly.

I am so glad that your son is doing great.  I am sure it was very scary for him to have the surgery.  I am sure he is going to do fantastic and he will not have to be in the hospital again.

It is great that you and your son are now an official team.  I hope you both enjoyed your walk and today.  it will be an amazing ride that you both will embark together.

So sorry to hear you are having trouble getting your disability pay.  When do you go back to work? Is there any vacation time you could have used?  Don't sit at home all weekend. Find something constructive to do, to keep your mind off things a little bit.
