Damn I hate my company

I have great benefits, so why do I hate Verizon so much? Well they make it so difficult to fill out paperwork correctly, I am now two weeks behind in pay, Because the Drs office must have dotted an i incorrectly. Now I have to bug Dr As office again, and forget about buying groceries for the family. Figures, a little good news, then a bunch of BS to wreck it. So what am I doing this weekend? not a damn thing, El and the girls are going to PA, burning up gas I can't afford, If I go with them then for sure my claims will be denied, (I am not allowed to "travel" while on disability. Wait, it has been denied already,, should I stay or should I go?  So much for my good mood. so much for having a relaxing weekend,

Oh, that sucks!!!  But just to be clear, unfortunately, it's not just Verizon.  The State also has TONS of forms, and if they're not filled out just so....

I assume you've made phone calls to ***** complain and so on?  F***!!!!

Tia you are right on that one. It took several attempts to get Marty's FMLA approved when he took off to help me after teh second surgery and all because the doctor wasnt specific enough. What a pain.

Tom sorry you are having so much trouble with them. Maybe you should just go and have a relaxing weekend.

Tom, sorry for the $$$ pain.  I've learned many many years ago not to depend on future $$$$.     I have cut back to basics since my company has been in the red for 3 quarters and cash flow cut by 40%.  Hell, I gave all my fat clothes to AMVETS and I am facing major $$ for a new wardrobe this fall.  Thats how tight it is.

I am sorry Verizon is such a pain in the A$$!!!   I miss the money but I really do not miss working for them.  I know exactly what you mean about not getting the FMLA forms filled out correctly and then you are SOL. 
Verizon has changed a lot they don't even cover you if you have the FLU, with bronchitis and have a major case of diarrhea!  LOL  My husband was denied and they took back the money they paid him for the 4 days he was out.  WTF?  Call FMLA and find out exactly what Dr. A has to check off on the paper so they can rectify it and appeal it asap. 

I am sorry you are having the moeny issue.  From past experience I suggest you stay home.  You don't wanna be in the quartly newsletter.  lol

I hope you have a  relaxed weekend and that they pay you your money asap.

Thanks everyone,, it just sucks soooooo much. I was kind of looking forward to a couple of days alone,   I WAS planning on going to Loch Raven, renting a boat, and if nothing else drowning some worms. Now,, nope. sitting around on my fat ass wondering where I went wrong. Hell, I wish I had the money to get drunk.

STOP!!!!  It's a rapidly shrinking ass, thank you very much!!!

I know you don't mean it about the alcohol - WTF do you want to screw everything up that you've worked so hard for?

And alcohol's a depressant anyway - do you REALLY want to add more to the mix??!!

I'll be around all weekend if you need to chat.  There are free places to go fishing, too.  You don't have to rent a boat - you could fish from a dock, a pier, etc.

DO NOT sit home and mope all weekend, although you're certainly entitled to do so!

P.S.  I KNOW why you're feeling the way you are, but keep in mind that post-op depression CAN happen, and you CAN get help/meds for that.

Poor Tom I am sure he didn't mean the alcohol stuff. That is frustration talking. remember he works for Verizon the #1 PITA company to work for.  When you have applied for FMLA and it is pending and stuff you have to stay home because those people will watch you like a hawk to see if you are trying to get over them. 

I hope and pray that everything gets straightened out fairly quickly for him.

I'm sorry things aren't going well!  I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.  So many people are having $$ issues right now and it does suck!!

If it's going to jeopardize your disability, definitely don't travel.  Try to get out and do SOMETHING though, even if it's just doing something in your yard.  Sitting inside at home will probably make you feel worse!
