Good morning!!!  What's everyone eating?  Big eating weekend coming up!!!  Mom's doing burgers, dogs, chicken and ribs on the grill on Sunday or Monday.  Personally, I have a hard time with all of it - if I eat a burger, I usually try to shape mine like a hot dog and wrap it in lettuce with cheese, tomato, mayo and horseradish.  The only thing I really like off the whole menu is Mom's macaroni salad with shrimp.  I can leave everything else.  To me, that was one of the good things about surgery - I don't stress over holiday meals anymore - all the mountains of food just aren't that important to me.  Now, put a piece of chocolate or a dessert in front of me and BAM! there's my problem!!!  Since I have a little free time this weekend (WTH?) I might try to make a new s/f dessert.  I'll let you know how it turns out!!!

Yesterday:

B - Protein Coffee

S - Protein bar

L - 3 Chick Fil-A chicken strips

S - 3 Miller Chill beers (beer brewed with lime and salt)

D - Turkey breast

Today:

B - Protein coffee

L - ? - I'm gonna push for Greek food!!

D - ?

All my fluids, all my vits!!

We just haven't used the grill very much this year.  Probably because I prefer most of meat in stew-like concoctions these days. I might just have to get Mike to clean it up so that we can grill something.  I'm thinking grilled shrimp for me...wish we could do steak but we're in $$ conservation mode.

Yesterday:

B - yogurt/mango protein shake

L - protein bar

S - protein bar

S - wine and a little bit of margarita

D - one chicken tender at the concert

Today:

B - pineapple greek yogurt

L - chili

S - watermelon

D - something with chicken

S - protein bar

NEXT?!?!
