3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY
I can hardly contain myself so here goes!
1. I was offered a bribe from school to quit JC Penneys. The bribe is called tuition scholarship. GRINS They were concerned that I would not have enough time to dedicate to my academic pursuit and understood that I was working the 2nd job to make ends meet.
2. No news about the furloughs have come down yet. I hear that the Agency's director requested an exemption. I doubt it'd happen, but you never know!
3. Furlough or no furlough, I'm off Friday, whether it's admin leave day or a comp leave day.
4. I was offered a bribe from school. Oh wait, did I say that already? LOL. The tuition scholarship represents a wee bit more than what I would have been making at JCP working them ungodly hours.
5. I spoke with the store manager and explained the situation this morning. They are understanding the situation, and have asked me to work the remaining schedule off - and to let them know how soon I can come back because they'll need help right at Thanksgiving through Christmas. So that means, I won't be burning a bridge when I leave JCP.
6. The school offered me a tuition scholarship - oh wait, I said it again! LOL! This means that the nights that I don't have school, I can be in the comfort of my home, fixing dinner, doing homework and watching all of my Ravens games!
7. I love you guys and gals!
