Weird day

Got up and grabbed a pair of my 38waist shorts, put them on,, shoved my had into the pocket and there was something in there that felt like a coin with a hole, or possibly a ring,, like a wedding ring possibly??  Pulled it out and sure enough it was my missing wedding ring,, gone since the first week of June. Here is what I think happened,, I tried these on the first week we were allowed to wear shorts at work, of course they didn't fit, I am assumeing I tried to straighten the pocket by shoving my hand in,, and when I pulled it out, it must have pulled the ring off and dropped it in the pocket. It pissed my off that I had lost it, because it is my wedding band,, and it is gold and platinium,, wasn't cheap.

Then

Won an E-bay auction for an eletric motor I had completely forgotten about. Had to run some parts to PA, about 130mi one way. Passed within 150ft of where my motor was,,, saved $50 shipping by picking it up.

Strange day huh?

Yeah....in a good way too!

So glad you found your ring. I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring once and I thought it was gone forever. One day I was going to the post office to mail something and as I took the unsealed envelope out of my purse the diamond fell out of the envelope. Thank God I didn't mail it.

Very cool Gail!!! And yes, a darned good thing you didn't mail it. The recipient of your letter would have been pleasantly surprised, but chances are they would have thought it was a cheap rhinestone ouf of costume jewelry and just thrown it away.  Are you Irish? You definitely were lucky!

~hugs~

Very cool!!!  Was El pretty ticked about the ring, too?  Now, it's going to get too big pretty quickly, so once it does, put it away so you can have it sized for good when you've reached your goal.

Very cool on winning something!  A motor, though?  Eh, guess it's a guy thing!!!  LOL!!

Congratulations on finding your wedding ring! I'm sure it was like winning the lottery in its own way. I lost mine years ago and was very upset over it... it was formerly my mothers.   I never did find it.

Oh that is good you found your ring. I am sure El must be delighted.
Congrats on winning the eletric motor and saving on the shipping.  Very lucky!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
