3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!
Good morning Tia,
I am so glad to hear your shoulder is better. Mine acted up over the weekend and I was not a happy camper. But today it is a little better after taking two Tylenol PMs last night.
Today I am grateful:
1. Wonderful friends that keep my email inbox full! LOL
2. That Helen is home!!!
3. That I loved the cold night and morning. Fall is just around the corner Yay!

LOL I was thinking that this morning when Rocky came in from his walk he was trembling a bit more than usual. lol
Gianna loves her new teacher and is doing really good adjusting to 2ND grade. Little Gino starts on the 3rd. He is a bit happy and then he gets apprehensive and says he is not going to go. lol We shall see how it goes this Thursday. He is suppose to ride the bus I don't know how that will go. Wish us luck!

I don't know who took your weekend but whomever it was took mine TOO!!! My weekend was 1/2 quiet and 1/2 busy. I stayed up too late both Friday and Saturday nights...come to think of it I was up 'til 12 last night and that's WAY too late on a school night!

Today, I'm grateful...
1. For a short but productive weekend. Got some cooking done, watched some movies, drank a margarita...you know...the good stuff.
2. That we got to spend some virtually drama free time with all three of Mike's daughters yesterday. The 5 of us went up to see Mike's nephew in the hospital in DE. He's still not on solid foods (no appetite), so he can't go home until that happens and is consistent.
3. For the cooler weather. I had to put on a hoodie this morning and it was almost too cool with my window cracked on the ride home. I intend on opening all of the windows when I get home and airing out the house. It's supposed to get down to the 50's tonight, so Mike and I don't have to fight about where the A/C is set.
4. Today is my Wednesday. Thursday is the Jimmy Buffett concert and I'm soooo looking forward to a 5-day weekend!! WOOHOOO!!
5. And last but certainly not least...the 100's of e-mails over the weekend. Got me crockpot cooking again - chicken in a wine sauce on Saturday and a huge pot of Spaghetti Sauce yesterday. No one better touch that before tonight either!!

Good afternoon, Tia. I am also happy you are feeling better with your arm. My sister is going through that right now and she has been very upset about it.
1. Well, it looks like most of you are off on Friday. I'm not so I will just say I am grateful to have a job.
2. that I got to give my g'daughters some comfort. On Sat we went to the Good Will (yeah, I think I am getting them hooked) then to lunch and on to roller skating. It was a great day!
3. I think my son, Jeff, will get back to Japan this week. I hope he gets to spend most of the time at home while his wife is pregnant.
4. I spent the day with my mom and sister at Charlestown slots yesterday. What a beautiful ride and some ugly luck. I told Cira that I thought that Harpers Ferry would be a nice Oct outing for us all.

NO!!!!!! I already have 2 knee implants. I think I will try to keep all my other real parts for now.
My sister went with us back in Feb and she thought she was so smart trying to skate and dance at the same time. She is over weight and she took a horrible fall. Had to be taken to the hospital in an ambo. She is still going to PT 3 times a week and will not get to go back to work for about a year. She lost her job because she wasn't there that long before it happened. Of course, they took her to Carroll County Hosp where the surgeon that did the surgery screwd it up. She ended up having to go to Union Memorial and have the surgery again. It really did a lot of damage. She had to get some kind of shots in her neck. I mean this was a broken wrist or should I say splattered wrist.
So....no, as much as I loved roller skating when I was younger, I just can't afford to take the chance.
Yes, Tomomi is a very beautiful person....inside and out!
Let me get the Bethany trip out of the way first then I'll work on Harpers Ferry.

Happy Monday everyone! I am sooo loving this weather. Fall is also my favorite season.
So today I am thankful that....
1.) My surgery is tomorrow!
2.) I have awesome parents and a great husband that are getting up at 4:30 am just to sit at the hospital all day for me.
3.) My surgery is TOMORROW!!!!!!
