3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. The invigorating weather this a.m.!! Fall is SO my fave season!! I'm not dumb enough to believe that summer's over just yet, though!
2. That my shoulder feels PRETTY good today. Let's hope it continues.
3. For my friends.....and their 10K emails this weekend!!!! LOL!!!
4. That today is my Tuesday!! Friday's an unpaid day off, but that also means that it's a 4 day weekend!! Gotta look for that silver lining somewhere!!
Have a great day!!
Tia
Tia, I'm glad to hear your shoulder is feeling better. I agree the weather is nicer today than a hot humid day, but I wish I would have known before I left the house this morning..... I'm a bit brrrrrr!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. A full weekend. Got my daughter all moved in to her own house on Saturday, and then moved my youngest son in with me yesterday (after his father threw him out). Regardless of how he got there, I'm glad he's with me.
2. A great dinner last night for 7. I cooked a huge roast and all the trimmings last night as well as made a great low-sugar dessert!
3. For the friends I've made recently and have been enjoying time with them.
4. Regardless of how much I hate when the alarm clock goes off, I'm very pleased to have a job to go to every morning.
What is everyone else grateful for?

Morning Ren!!
I hope Rachel & baby are staying in the area for you!! Gosh, you have that revolving door, too!!! But I'm sure your kids are relieved that it continues to open inward!!
I hate having to get up early, too, particularly on Mondays, because I FORCE myself to stay awake for Army Wives, but until we hit the lottery, there's not much choice!!!!
Hugs,
T
I've never seen Army wives. But then again, during the week I'm usually on the sofa snoozing as early as 9:30 until Pete wakes me up to go to bed when he's ready.
Looks like someone hit the lottery BIG this past weekend!!! If it was one person I'd really have no clue what to do with THAT much money. I hope it was won by several people actually. Enough to make them comfortable for the rest of their lives.
I'm off this Friday too and looking forward to it! So I guess there is no Monday in my week either! Woot Woot!
~hugs~

My three things are:
1. Ravens are now 3-0 pre-season - and some of the haters are actually admitting that the Ravens look pretty good LOL I wonder if they are saying that, hoping I'll tell them that the Steelers and the 'Skins look good - NAH!
2. Although it was a very short weekend, it was alright - between hanging out with my girlfriend and working at JCP and having that Leadership thingie on Saturday - some of the students didn't recognize me and others were like "wow - you've lost weight or wow- you look great!"
3. Today is my Tuesday too! Whoot whoot. And uh, Tia, I think we get paid for the Friday - it's admin leave, they just take it out of the 2 hours they're chopping out of our paychecks for the next 20 paydays. So we get paid for 6 hours if you want to look at it that way. LOL I'd love to have all of Friday off - but I have to go werk at Jacques Penne.
4. Speaking of JC Penneys - the big clearance event is on now. And starting tomorrow and for Wednesday and Thursday - if you have a JCP card that you're paying for your purchases, you save another 15% off. If you don't have a JCP card - and want to apply for it, let me know so I can direct you to deserving employees that you can hook up with if you can't wait for me. There are some I don't like already and wish the worst for them; so I wouldn't want them to meet their quotas....LOL
5. Helen's home Helen's home! YAY!!!!!
Have an awesome day!
Morning honey!
Even a non-sports fan like myself is impressed with the Ravens thus far!!!
What an awesome NSV for you!! I'm so proud of you!!
Friday - Yeah, I know, but it's easier to explain MY way!! LOL!!! I've already figured out that I'm taking my 3 days of furlough leave in the allowed 4 hour increments - every Friday from October on!!!!! That way, I only have to work half days for 6 Fridays!! Woo-hoo!!!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
T
T: Glad the shoulder feeling a bit better. I know what you mean about the weekend going fast.
Today I am grateful for
1. Sister and family arrived home safe from vacation!
2. for my appt with Ranesa this afternoon : Lots of family drama so I know what
we will be taking about today!. Did you ever think while sitting in therapy that you are
fine: its the rest of your family that need the therapy : well thats where I am at today! LOL
3. That someone else is taking Dad to the Dr today: even though he would have preferred
I take him: It's funny parents think I'm # 1 daughter and my sister thinks I'm # 1 traitor
hence my conversation with Ranesa this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone
I'm glad they got home okay. For them....and for YOU!!! And yeah, Ranesa would have FIELD DAY with your sister!!! Not that she's not a good person, but jeez, she IS a grown woman wanting to put everything on YOU!! So not fair!! She needs to get a grip!! Unfortunately, Ranesa won't be able to make the drama go away (cause it NEVER does), but hopefully, she'll give you some ways to help you deal with it!!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
T
Good morning tootsie !!! As I was crossing the street to the office this morning it dawned on me that it was feeling sort of 'fall-ish' here in Annapolis as well. Gave me pause to think about my packing for the upcoming weekend and to be sure that I am prepared for both HOT and COOL weather.
Let's see ...
1) having the time on Saturday morning to enjoy my coffee and a wild round-robin of one-liner emails with friends.
2) the weather holding off on Saturday night for us to make it to Queenstown and see friends and make new ones at the parade.
3) A short week. We are both off on Friday, so with luck we will be on the road by noon on our way to Pt Lookout. I've got a major thing happening tomorrow here at work, but I'll have 3 days to make sure it's working just fine before I take off.
Have a wonderful Monday/Tuesday.
Hugs, Mo
P.S. I almost forgot ... #4 .. one of my pics of the furry kids is the featured Pet Pic of the Day (POTD) on www.webshots.com today.
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
