Monday Feel good feeling

This morning I'm walking through Union Station on my way to work just zoned out and this lady who I have no idea who she is walks up beside me and says "I just want to pay you a complement, you look really good these days, keep up the good work".  Caught me totally off guard, I just smiled and said thank you and she walked off.  I assume she rides the train I just got off of.  But that was such a great positive way to start a Monday morning.  I have to keep up the positive thoughts.

It also goes to show people are watching you when you have no idea.  Little things like that mean all the world when every day is such a journey.

It's nice when an unexpected compliment comes our way. It's nice from friends and family but a complete stranger is just extra special! Congrats!

Thanks guys, your right it really means more when it comes from a complete stranger than from our own family and friends....that's a sad statement to some degree.

I don't think it's a sad statement.

I think it's kind of expected that those who love and care for us to say positive things to us when they are noticed. When someone we don't know or have any feelings for says something it is just totally  unexpected and therefore makes us feel really special.

Oh that was so special that she gave you such a great Monday compliment. It is not sad it is wonderful. I know when someone such as friends and family sees you on a daily basis that they don't notice things as much. When a stranger sees you on an occasion the weight loss and changes are  more noticeable. I have had this happen to me and it is so strange. Enjoy the compliment and keep those positive thoughts going..
