3 THINGS FOR THURSDAY
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. My friends who make me laugh out loud!!! Granted, I don't picture myself as Christ, but Candy's depiction of me yesterday just cracks me up each and every time I think about it!!! Thanks for the laugh! You are just too twisted for words, girlfriend!!
2. Today is my Friday!! It's been a long week, and I'm glad to see it end, work-wise. I'm taking KB out tomorrow (I think to an indoor waterpark) to celebrate them staying by themselves all summer and not killing each other. Actually, there were no complaints, other than from B, who complained that K made him eat veggies!! LOL!! It could've been a lot worse!!
3. Next week is a short week, too! Governor O'Malley has generously given State employees off (WITHOUT PAY) the Friday before Labor Day. In addition, we have the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off. Obviously, it hurts my wallet, but I'll be saving leave, because I was scheduled off for all of them anyway, so I'll take those days another time. I also have to take 3 additional unpaid days, but they can be taken in 4 hour increments, and since I'll still have a job, I guess there's not much complaining I can do!
I hope everyone has a great Thursday!!
Hugs,
Tia
1. off tomorrow. taking my cat puff to vet cuz she needs her teeth cleaned. having someone come over to give me a quote on cleaning my house. having depression does not bode well for a clean house. and my two kittens are getting adopted tomorrow so busy day ahead.
2. sliding on new socks this morning. i love new socks
3. my kittens seem to be doing better since they got their meds. i am going to miss them but looking forward to one less responsibility.
Hey Nic! You know, when my surroundings are cluttered, my mind feels cluttered, too, as if the physical is weighing down the mental. Meds CAN help with that, though, but hiring someone to clean should be a help, too!
Have you seen Spa Socks? OMG!! They feel like butter on your feet!!! They have aloe in them! Very cool! A little pricey, but a nice little splurge!!
Here's to good forever homes for the kitties!!
Hugs,
T
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Not waking up with a migraine as I did yesterday.
2. The fact that I was able to put aside some money to have my housecleaner start cleaning my home again.
3. That Pete is very patient with me even when I don't feel good and am being a bit difficult and CRANKY.
4. My family who at times drives me crazy but always shows me love and respect.
5. That I'm so overwhelming excited to be a Grandma in March and I'm already beginning to plan the baby shower. Is it too soon to start planning?
6. Regardless of the personal reasons reasons I stay away from the MD OH Board for short periods of time, I know when I return, I'm always welcome to the support and guidance from my OH Family, and able to give it in return. Thanks 'guys.... you really are the best.

Hi Ren!
You know we're always happy to see you here!
Nah, it's not too early to start planning how to spoil the baby! Here's a great idea for a shower gift, especially since we're coming up on some holidays. When I found out KB were on the way, I started buying things related to each holiday - Walmart and Target always have cute, "Baby's First...." things. So you could buy Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff NOW, and give them to Rachel at her shower. Make sense? I can probably convey it better over the phone!
I'll be anxiously awaiting updates on RGB!! (Ren's Grandbaby)
Hugs,
Tia
Busy today here as well: its that time of year.
Seriously people if you bake a lot during the holidays : Buy the sugar Now:
Sugar shortage big time.
1. Job security: gotta love the new 3 year contract just signed!
2. For the wonderful time with 2 of my brothers last night at dinner: and their wives of course.
3. That my sister gets home Saturday and I can return to my normal routine! I miss my dog
and my bed and my computer and oh Yeah My Mom and Dad too!
Have a great day all!
