Call from Andys' Mom

Christie called me, Andy is doing "ok" He is in quite a bit of discomfort, but he has never had any type of injury before, so he is new to pain. Surgery went well, he is on his way down for upper GI test now, 8:50am Friday.

Aww, poor guy!!  Since he's never had anything like this before, I bet it's thrown him for a loop!!

Thanks for the update.  It will pass.  Is Andy in school??

Starting his second year of college next week.  Hope he is able to return to classes on Tuesday.  Crossing my fingers.  He's still very tired and weak and trying to find a way to fit the protein in.  Dr. A called on Monday to check on him.  I thought that was so very  nice of him.  This was Andy's initiation to being in a hospital.  He's never so much as had a stitch before!  

Thats good news.  Hard to remember my 2nd yr.  This is a good time in his life and WLS is a bonus for him. Put a few footsteps together and b4 long you have a destination.
