I'd still go and see what happens.  As it gets closer, if it's going to get bad, take off then!

Hopefully it will just blow by!

company...
games....
lots of candles....
a big pot roast to bake in the oven and make the house smell all yummy and comforting...
a battery operated radio ...
an ice chest ...
bottles of water....
some old favorite movies...
a good book.
