Morning!

Sorry about everyone's pain...I'm not for once...thank GOD!!  I have flexeril on standby, however.

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That I wasn't in one of the two accidents that backed traffic up this morning resulting in a 2 hour commute!

2.  That I wasn't the vehicle on fire yesterday at the Bay Bridge which resulted in a 2+ hour commute.

3.  That I will HOPEFULLY be able to get out of here early today so that I can AVOID a 2 hour commute.

Have a good day!

YIKES!!!  DOUBLE YIKES!!

I'm glad you weren't in any of the accidents or on fire, either!!!!!  My commute went from 30 comfortable minutes to 60 tick-me-off minutes once a lot of schools started on Monday.  UGH!

Tia:

I hope they find the source of your pain, if they haven't already and then do something about it.

Today I am thankful for :

1 having Zell in my life, I don't even have to tell him what I need, he already knows, sometimes even before I do.

2 all of the friends I met last Sunday

3 riding on the back of the motorcycle last night for the monthly Harley Owners Group Meeting.

Take care and be well all

Hi Lori -

Yeah, they know what's causing the pain.  Sometimes, it's not so bad, others - ugh!!

Oh, last night was a really nice night for a ride!!  Glad you enjoyed it!!

We enjoyed meeting you, too!

Hugs,

Tia

Oh Tia - I hope your shoulder feels better soon!

Today I'm thankful for:

1.  Reconnecting with old friends...I've reconnected with an old college friend just in time to find out that his wife is dying with cancer - I'm glad I was able to find them in time so I could help them out and add his family to my prayer list.

2.  I'm thankful that my training session today that was originally scheduled for two hours this morning only took one!

3.  my iPod...it helped me get through my morning MTA ride today without killing chatty Kathy on her cell phone...I'm NOT a morning person!

Hi Bernice!!

I'm so sorry, I don't know how I missed this yesterday!!!  Pre-op, a training session/seminar/speech meant snoozing, thanks to my sleep apnea!!!  LOL!

I so hear you on the Chatty Kathy!!  Although I'm usually ON first thing, I don't like to be bombarded with noises, talking, etc.  Strange, I know!!!

Hugs,

Tia

1. Allstate finally sent us a check for the totaled car. Paid off a huge chunk on the credit card with it. Hey, 9% on new car loan, Citi chargin' us 14% - wasn't a tough decision.

2. Got the new car. I swear the thing is a mini space mobile. I will take a few weeks to learn all the buttons and gadgets inside my brand new 2010 Prius.

3. Friends who, even though I haven't spoken to in years, meet again like we never stopped tlaking. I needed a good month in CA to catch up with everyone.

Hi Sylvie!

Welcome Back!  I hope you had fun in CA!!

Ooooh, new car smell!!  Love that!!!  And a 2010!!  YUMMY!!

And those types of friends are called low-maintenance - where you can pick up and it's like no time has passed at all!!!!

Hugs,

T

Yup, but that just made leaving CA so much more painful. If I could transport my house, my job and my friends from here to there and not have the increased cost of living to deal with, i would go back in a jiffy.

I love this car! I can't speed as easily as the element becuase the mileage goes down and it shoes you on the screen, the mileage going down so you tend to not do it. Hopefully, that lasts.
