She's not hungry though!!  But she knows she HAS to eat, or she'll be in there even longer.

Head or real hunger?  I battle head hunger just about every day.

I have NEVER, EVER felt "true" hunger since my surgery.  I remember early on, DVR telling me, if you're hungry, it's because you haven't drank enough.  I've actually found that to be very true.

For the other, yeah, I feel ya, and don't know how to fight it all the time!!  Sometimes it seems easier to give in.....and hate myself later.

Sound familiar?

sounds very familiar. mostly head hunger. i do get actual hunger though. drinking does help but when i'm in destructive mode, there isn't much that I actually succeed in doing to stop it. I just give in and hope i stop before anything bad happens LOL.

Thanks for the update Tia!!   Helen called me when she had just gotten her food.  I was in shock to hear what she got after being early out from RNY and not being able to eat for 3 weeks being in the hospital. It is crazy.  I told her to eat the steak very slowly and only about 2 ounces for now. ughhh    Anyway I am glad that she is doing better and I pray that she can go home soon.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I'm sure glad people are posting ALL events with regards to Helen, her Dr., and the hospital, so others can read, prior to their surgery.  I always said, from the beginning, somethings just NOT right!  Hopefully the person *****quested info. about a particular Dr., will read all posted about Helen.  GOOD FOR YOU HELEN, in spite of everything, you're a REAL TROOPER!  You'll look back at all this, one day, won't laugh, but will certainly remember!
