3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY
Today, I'm grateful...
1. For this lovely weather. I got to drive to work with the windows down for once in quite a while! Loved it! It would be the perfect day to be outside instead of stuck in this computer lab!
2. For my friends...even though they can be quite VERBOSE...they are real people, with intelligent minds, and are TRUE friends.
3. That I'm secure in who I am....that I have a mind of my own....and that I see mean and nasty people for what they truly are! 'Nuff said!
Have a good day sheeple!

THIRTY? That's not possible!!! Even the people making in excess of $100K only have to take 10. But of course, all of this is still in the works, so who knows?!!!
This weather's glorious, isn't it? Come on, October! The feel of the crisp air, the smells, the colors....AAAHHH!!!
Hey, who you calling VERBOSE????!!!! I consider you a BFF, but then, you already knew that!!! I LOVE that we know what the other is thinking and that we can finish each other's sentences. Hmmmm.......maybe we should go steady!!! LOL!!
People DID try to warn me, didn't they? Sigh.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I am off on Friday to go where???????????????? You know where!!!!!
The a/c broke at the beach but hubby found someone to go and fix it yesterday. Thank God or I don't think we would be going. It is with my co-workers and most of them cannot take the heat.
My son is doing so well on his medicine that I told him yesterday that I felt like I was talking to someone else most of the time.
Morning Gail!
I'm glad to see you're getting to the beach more - I know it's good for the soul! Have a blast this weekend!!!
Kudos to your son - it's hard to admit there's a problem, and harder still to do something about it. The girls deserve to have a healthy, happy Daddy - and he deserves to BE one!
Hugs,
T
Good morning !!! I barely have time to check in, but I do have one MAJOR thing to report in on ...
Drum roll pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase !!
After my scale being stuck for what seems like weeks (tho it's probably only been maybe a week at most), I had a 5 pound drop this a.m. I hope it's not a fleeting thing and is for real. I may go up a pound or two and then settle again til the next drop. But as of this a.m. I was within 12 pounds of where I was at my LOWEST in 2005. I'm feeling pretty darn good about that. I should have gotten the braces long ago .. LMAO. Now I just have to remember all the good eating patterns I am developing now, and when the braces come off in 2 years, stick with it.
Gotta run without even reading everyone's posts.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
