OT Spent the morning

Prepping two "medium" size rockets ( a half scale AMRAAM, ~ 6ft tall, and a "high performance" all fiberglass and carbon fiber rocket that is about 8ft tall) for a launch this weekend, hopefully the weather will clear in time for Saturday, (we fly on a sod farm and can't get on the property 'till they close at noon) if not might run down Sunday Morn.

It is amazing how stuff gets scattered when you don't use it for four years. It should be organized, a tote for recovery, (parachutes, tubular nylon, fire blankets ect) A range box with tools, hardware, cleanup supplies (baby wipes ) but as I start prepping,, everything is scattered all over the basement.  Damn Gremlins.

Hmmm.................you have gremlins?  We have Somebody.  As in "Somebody moved my (insert whatever)."

I swear that if I ever find Somebody, he's a dead man.  And yes, I'm assuming it's a man!!

It'll be interesting for you to see how your weight loss thus far impacts your recreational activities!!

My hubby and son were into the rockets too. Hubby loves to fly remote control airplanes and build them of course.

I was amazed that one rocket had a camera in it and took a picture while it was coming down.

Like I always say.....boys and their toys!

Ok so you're gonna have to tell me exactly what you do. My dad used to 'buy and build' missiles!!  Or at least that's how I understood it as a kid.   He was a QA engineer/supervisor for MANY years.,,, with NASA then private contractors.

Gremlins...Somebody...or the little blue men from the Twilight Zone that rebuild time every minute and forget to put something back where they got it in the previous minute!!  Loved that episode!
