I am SO going to pay for this in water weight, but this a.m., I had a salt bagel!!  They are my faves, and I haven't had one since my bday in March, so I'm feeling only marginally guilty!!  It tasted like a big soft pretzel!!

Yesterday:

B - Protein coffee
     Greek yogurt, s/f peach preserves

L - Ham & cheese roll-ups
     Watermelon

D - Chicken nuggets from Chick Fil-A

All my fluids, all my vits!!

You and soy!!!  I'm not sure, but check out the Pure Protein Shakes.  They're not bad, either.

This maybe a little off topic, but here goes.  I am addicted to egg drop soup.  Seems like a good fit in the diet.  But I checked the sodium content in chicken broth and its off the charts.  No wonder the damn soup has me hooked.  Daily plate is very kind on the sodium and calorie content and thats why I felt it was good for me.  But since I leveled last month even though I was burning 3500 cals daily I wondered if the sodium was affected my weight loss.

Any ideas??

Yes it will affect your weight loss because sodium makes you retain fluids.  I would definitely have the egg drop soup once a month or so.

You have to up your fluid intake when you take in a lot of sodium so you can flush out the fluids and not retain them.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Dean -

As far as I'm concerned, if it's wls related, nothing's off topic.

If you cook, you could make your own using low sodium chicken broth.  Check www.allrecipes.com - I'm sure they have a ls version.

And YES, any woman on here can attest to this - you CAN show a weight gain from sodium-packed foods - it's called water weight and it bites!!!!
