3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!
It's Friday! Can I get an AMEN??!!!! It's been a long week!! I have, as far as I know, absolutely nothing going on tomorrow, so I am sleeping in!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. That I get to see my Boxer tonight and my other girls (and guys) on Friday. Although I'm really disappointed that we couldn't have the party, I know now that given the still existent pain in my shoulder, there's really no way I could've done it. Things happen for a reason, right?
2. After checking my leave balances, I put in a bunch of leave requests for the rest of the year. From about October on, I don't think I work a full week!! Woo-hoo!! I have the entire Thanksgiving week off, as well as the 21-31 of December!! YAY!! BTW, I noticed on our list of State holidays for next year, they've now listed the day after Thanksgiving as "American Indian Heritage Day." I certainly can't complain, I just find it interesting.
3. Comcast is coming today, so barring any issues, we should have the Internet at home. Now, you'll never be able to get rid of me! MWAH-HAA-HAA!!!
Continue to keep Helen in your prayers, along with our new and recovering post-ops and keep praying for good results from Lisa's tests!

I am sorry you are still having the pain. I must be having sympathy pains because I definitely got a pain in my neck yesterday that runs down to my shoulder. I had to have Gino rub it and I put on a heating pad. It is driving me batty. I did notice that when I press my shoulder the pain shoots up so it seems like I have lactic acid build up and I definitely to have someone work on that for me.
Glad that you get to see Boxer and others. It is always nice to spend time with wonderful people. Girl I love all your leave time!! You are one lucky gal!! Enjoy....

I just spoke with Helen and she was waiting t o be taken to CT Scan to check how everything is looking inside. She was a bit upset because she asked for ice and water last night and they had not brought it her all night. She got it this morning at 6am after she complained. The nurse had told her last night that she was busy with the other patient and Helen told her yeah and me too I am here too!! Ughhhh I can't stand when you get awful treatment over the shift.
She said that the site where one of the drains is at is getting red and they might be removing it so it doesn't get infected. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
She was so happy to meet Candy!!
Today: I am grateful for:
1. That yesterday is done! LOL Little Gino had his physical and shots and man oh man, I am so glad that Daddy came along with us. Because Dad and three other people had to hold him down. I left the room the kids and it was killing me to hear him hollering. He will start preschool on 9/03
2. since it is very cloudy this morning the kids are still sleeping.... Whooooo hoooooo!
3. TGIF it has been a long week and I can not wait for the pizza making, movie night here at home with my family. Gino makes fantastic Pizza from scratch and we always have fun making it together.

Morning sweetie!! I know you love me and I appreciate that, but really, it's NOT necessary for you to be in pain, too!!!! LOL!! I hope you feel better. I'm sick and tired of this constant pain.
I'm very grateful for the leave I have. When Mom had cancer surgery, it enabled me to take off 10 weeks to be with her. Thank God! You know I couldn't have worked for worrying about her.
I swear to God, that hospital just ticks me off!!! Mind you, I got great care there, as did my Mom, but in part, they seem to have NO clue!! I would've been LAYING on that buzzer!!!
Aw, poor LG! I was afraid he'd have to get shots - I bet he screamed the walls down!! Poor lil guy. Tell him Auntie Tia is SOOOOOOOOOO proud of him!

I told Helen to ask for Patient advocate and to complain to them about that nurse. She said sh was going to talk to her doctor about it.
I will definitely enjoy the pizza it is going to be yummy. He will probably bake 3 one cheese, one with pepperoni and the other my favorite veggies with home grown tomatoes. I will eat 2 pieces for you! LOL

AMEN!!!!!!!!! It has been a LOOOONNNGGG freakin' week! I have to take Jake, Rio, AND Mischa in for their rabies vaccinations tomorrow at 10, so I'll only get to sleep in for a little bit but there is always nap time!
Today, I'm grateful....
1. That today is the day....the LONG awaited day...that I get to meet the stylist to the stars and get this mop fixed. I had a lot of hair so to most my hair loss is not noticeable, but of course I notice it. I have lost quite a bit and don't know how to deal with it like this.
2. That I get to see and hang with Tia tonight! Hair, a bite, and maybe Helen are on the agenda!
3. That I get to see more OH guys and girls on Sunday too! I get to meet Angie IRL finally!!! WOOHOO!!!
4. THERESEMARIE, who mostly lurks on the board these days, was looking to place her cat Sabrina. Coincidentally, we were looking for a companion for our Mischa, as well as a new family member. She brought her over last night and she is the sweetest girl...all black with the most beautiful green eyes. I think she's a little overwhelmed by the rest of the menagerie but I feel certain that she'll get used to it and will become ensconsed as a fixture in no time. Thank you Terri!
Okay, off to get some work done!

So just let me know what time you think you'll be up this way. If you get a perm, you'll have to sit for about 20 minutes or so with the solution, so I'm HOPING he'll squeeze me in for a haircut!! I desperately need to wash the gray out and some highlights in!! I don't use permanent haircolor - it scares me, so the stuff I use washes out after 4 weeks and it's been about 8!! Helloooo, old woman in the mirror!!!
Wow!! ALL of them? Hmmmm.....that should be interesting!!!
Oh, a new baby!! How sweet!!!!! I'm glad you were able to coordinate with Terri to get the baby!! I know she's going to have the best life in a wonderful home! If the rest of the crowd doesn't scare her away!! LOL!!!
