Early Bird Gets to Post the 3 Things!
Morning everyone! Guess I'm the first up this morning....
1. Although it was a long night at JCP last night, I got to see a dear friend. I welcomed the distraction greatly!!! I was up to my neck in sorting dresses out in the dresses area.
2. I am grateful that Gail could have went anywhere else, but happened to stop in at my JCP and honor me with her presence!
3. I'm off tonight, and am planning to see Helen.
4. I'm so looking forward to Sunday. The boss scheduled me to wor****il 7PM and I went back to her and said, I did ask for most of the afternoon off. She remembered and apologized, and put me back on the 10:45 to 2:45 that she had me originally scheduled for.
5. And as always, the wonderful friends I have here on the OH board, and how we are all blessed!

I was very happy to get to meet Candy again. We got to talk for awhile and she got to meet my granddaughters. I do hope she can make it to the beach weekend.
I am very grateful that today is Friday eve. When I go away on weekends (which I do alot) I feel like I have neglected my house. This weekend I am staying home...having company...but at least I will be at home.
I was also happy to run into another friend from way back last night in Kids 'R Us. It is so nice to have friends to be grateful for.

My 3 things for today:
1. That I'm starting to sleep at night. Bill started working nights a few days ago and the first few nights I had a lot of difficulty falling asleep without him there. Now it's just me and my lazy boys and we (me!) fell asleep easily last night.
2. Sunday I get to meet some of my great friends IRL!
3. That it's almost Friday..... i've been rather bored at work this week and next week I have a bit more on my plate. Not that I want the next work week to begin cuz you know I don't.

1. That I got to see Tia last night and we went to see Helen : she seems to be doing much better
2. That I get to see some friends Sunday : I don't do crabs but I want to enjoy the company!
3. That the MAC reopens Monday : I've missed it this week ; and missed seeing Deb!
4. For my WLS and the great friends it has led me too!

She has lots of flowers and balloons and Tia took her some shower gel and a scrubby.
I cann't think of anything she might need: but then again I don't know her all that well.
Call her first and see I guess: believe me she seems the type that if you ask
she will tell you what she needs LOL

I took Helen 3 boxes of drink mix last night. I know you're a Sobe freak, and Giant (the one by work, anyway) had them on sale for 88 cents. Why don't you get her some of them?
I was dismayed last night to see that they're giving her fruit juice - albeit NSA/natural, I still recall that I was given Fruit 2O, etc. She also told me that they're putting sugar on her tray!!! GRRR!!!! She's only supposed to be getting clear liquids - SOMEONE is not listening and it pissed us off to think that Vanguri's no****ching this kind of stuff!!!
Anyway, off my box. Maybe some Sobe, Propel or Fruit 2O. Oh, and when you go, make sure she has ice and water, wouldja? That didn't seem to be a staple for her, either!!!
And talk LOUDLY - she's hard of hearing, but can read lips. She has a hearing amplifier, which looks like a Bluetooth. Apparently, a puppy she had ATE her hearing aids and she said insurance won't cover replacements.

3. That I managed to get my butt up early this morning and was able to take Becca to work. She's not all that pleased with her job, so (again) if you'll keep your fingers crossed for her, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Good morning!! Okay, my schedule's totally out of whack now because Boxer's on - it MUST be the afternoon!!! LOL!!! OMG, it's been a long week. Sigh. I find myself saying that every week. But I feel like I'm saying it earlier every week, yanno?
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Dinner with Darla last night - Actually, although I LOVE Darla, I was happier that I was able to eat a 5 oz. petite sirloin with NO issues!!! LOL!!!!!! TGI Friday's has the BEST steaks! Twice now, I've been able to eat them with no fear!! WOOOO!
2. That we got to see Helen and meet her friend, Ron. He seems like a dear man, and she was brought to tears by the bday card he gave her. Note: Ron is now officially Pooh!!! LOL!!! Helen looked good and was touched by the card, balloons and presents we took for her. She still has some infection going on, so keep your fingers crossed for her, too!
3. That I get to see my Boxer tomorrow night! I'm taking her to see Hairdresser to the Stars, John, and I've no doubt that when he gets done, she'll look even MORE beautiful. Nothing like getting a good cut, style, etc.
4. That my shoulder pain is GREATLY diminished. Gently crossing my fingers!!!
PLEASE KEEP LISA IN YOUR PRAYERS THIS A.M. SHE TEXTED ME AT 6 A.M. TO TELL ME SHE WAS GOING INTO THE HOSPITAL FOR HER PROCEDURE. I KNOW SHE'S SCARED, AND I'M SO HOPING SHE GETS A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. LARRY, HER GRANDBABIES, AND HER FRIENDS HERE NEED HER HEALTHY AND WHOLE!!! SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRAY TO WHOMEVER YOU BELIEVE IN THAT THINGS ARE GOOD FOR HER. I'LL POST WHEN I HEAR FROM LARRY. SAVE LISA'S TA-TA'S!!!
