DEFINITE no Bill - sorry ya'll.  We wouldn't be able to stay long cuz he has to be home getting ready for work by like 6pm...... and he's working 7 days a week right now so he'd rather stay home and sleep.

You know, spouses show up all the time, and I think we go out of our way to make them feel comfortable.  But I understand.  Actually.  No.  I don't.  I'm crushed!  And you can tell him that!

I'm sure you do go out of your way! Not one of you is standoffish in any way, and rather quite outgoing and easy to get along with.

I'll tell him that, really... but I don't think it will matter..... lol.  He can be painfully shy sometimes, especially when he's tired.  I did tell him there was going to be other men also but he's just not into this one.  Maybe when his schedule settles down a bit.

No, really, it IS okay.  My ex-husband used to HATE going to MSP functions - he said all anyone talked about was work.

In fact, he was such an ass about it, I once let him out of the car on 695 and drove to a party in Frederick.  He had to walk home from Dulaney Valley Road to Belair Road!!!!    That'll teach HIM to scream at me!!
