Cira:

Good morning and I do understand completely.
I did go to the eye dr last night and he said every thing is good.  The cloudyness/irritation with my left eye is a floater and he suggested that we leave it alone.  I can have surgery to correct it but that leaves me open for a possible retinal detachment down the road.  So I agreed to leave it alone. Don't need any more issues than what I have at this point.  It has been a LONG week.

I love the new hair style.

I fear loosing to much of my hair after the surgery and having to cut it short again. I really love my long hair.

Hugs

Lori,

I am so glad that all went fine at your dr's appointment.  Those floaters can be a PITA.....  I hope it clears up though.

Thanks for the compliment.  This is my second time that I chop it all off.  The first time was when my Mom passed away from Cancer. I donated 18 inches that was almost 6 years ago.  The anniversary is in September so I decided to do the very same thing in her honor. This time I got 20 inches to donate. At least I know that some woman or child with cancer can use my hair.  It warms my heart everytime I think about it.

I lost a lot of hair and I can see some thinning in the front but I have regrowth. I am taking biotin that helps with the regrowth.  You really can not do much about losing it but you can take stuff to help regrow.  That is just one small side affect to deal with but you get better health and that is the ultimate blessing.

I loved my long hair too but with I was ready for a major change.  It will definitely grow back.

Have a wonderful day and a great weekend.

Hugs,

Cira

I've never really understood the way OH deals with blocking.   In most applications, when someone is 'blocked' you don't see their posts, but you are not blocking your posts from them.  Therefore, no one knows when they are blocked by someone, other than they may not receive any feedback from that person.

Personally, I think that OH has taken a very bad approach to the blocking and should reconsider how they handle that feature or do away with it completely.  The concept should be that you can chose whose posts you want to see and whose you do not want to see.  Let the others make their own choices as well.

Just my 2 cents!

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hi Mo,

I made the decision to not block that person and just ignore each post and keep it moving but , the woman never gives up she has something to say about everything all the time.  Then she comes and unblocks me when she wants to put her 2 cents ion after reading through her alternate email.  So I blocked her!   Enough is enough!

Well, you KNOW I have people blocked - 9 of them, to be exact.  Each and every one of them has done something to ME, either in print or in real life, that warrants them being blocked.  And it's okay, because once that happens, they simply are off my radar.  I don't block people that are nasty to my friends as a rule; however, I do severely limit my contact with that person.  I believe in letting everyone make their own choices about their friendships, and yes, I've attempted to develop friendships with people that I've later come to loathe, but that's life.  As someone said, we're not always going to get along, there are always going to be differences, but I think once people cross that line, blocking is a simple, easy, effective solution.  AND it sends quite a clear message!

Blocking is like Jell-o - THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR MORE!!!

Too funny she goes on her alternate profile to read what I posted then she unblocks me to post on this thread...  LOL   It must be her ADD  Because only children are  diagnosed ADHD and adults have ADD....   Oh I get it,  she never grew up or could be her other personality?   LOL
