Update on Brian
Nessa,
Brian has taken this big step, wouldn't it suck if he DIED from complications from sleep apnea? Sorry to be so brutal, but if a linebacker in the NFL can die from SA, anyone can. (Reggie White GB Packers)
I went through 3 different xPAP machines, don't know how many masks before I even had a shot at keeping the mask on all night. I still sometimes wake in the am with machine off and mask on night stand. I KNOW HOW MUCH IT SUCKS TO HAVE A xPAP.

Glad to hear that Brian is doing so well.....keep pushing the liquids. My mom stayed with me for a few days and if she was not there to remind me to sip sip sip I probably would have been dehydrated. I am happy to hear he is doing well but I have to agree with Tom. SA is nothing to fool around with. Fortunately, I was able to come off mine right away but it is not the same for everyone.
I had a hard time at first but by the time I had surgery I wouldn't even think of sleeping without it. I took it with me on vacation and anywhere I was spending the night.
