Lost zero pounds, this am (3:00) was down a pound. WEIRD. It doesn't worry me, I know weigh once a week yada yada yada, it's just weird how I drop 4lbs a day for a week, all of a sudden drop zero, then next day start losing again.

I am glad you are not worried because the scale numbers do not always tell the tale. Your body will need time to catch up from time to time and you may not see things on the scale. But good things will still be going on. I drove myself crazy weighing myself every day. I wish now, I had gotten into the habit of only weighing once a week or so.

Anyway, I am glad it all continues to go well for you.

Tom, might it be possible that you're in shock from the weight loss that you feel like one day if you don't get on that scale, what you'd been seeing was just an illusion, and it'll be the same weight pre-op?

Fortunately, as a bander, I am a slow loser and I will admit that I freak out over a pound gained, but at the end of the week, I've lost that pound plus another couple.

Are we going to see you on the tv show Obsessed?  The guy who cannot go on with the day unless he weighs in?  LOL

I'm proud of your progress!!!!!!

Hi Tom,

In the first few weeks most weight loss is water weight. Then the body starts trying to hold on to what you are losing cause it needs to catch up with so much weight that you are losing.

You are going tobe addicted to that scale like I was. lol   Heck I am still am.

Have a great day!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Yea I know I weigh myself too often,, scale is right there so I step on it. I am just 'observing" my wieght loss,, not obsessing over it.

LMAO!!!  You ARE obsessing over!!  Hell, you gave it its own post!!!!!

But it's okay, we understand and have been there.

It can become your enemy, so jus****ch it!!!  It's good to stay vigilant, because it'll help you stay on track, but still........................
