Happy Hump Day!
Good morning everyone!
Figured since I was up and at it early this morning, I'd scoot on and say hello!
You wouldn't see me this early had it been that I worked at JCP. I was off last night and needed that night off like you wouldn't believe. LOL
Naturally, I have a lot of things to be grateful for but I'll give ya a few.
1. I took my friend to a few malls last night. We were looking for a dress for her wedding. We walked the entire mall at Security Square Mall, and most of Marley Station. We found a store that carried more than one thing she liked so that was a plus. Lots of beautiful dresses out there! I wasn't huffing and puffing, nor was I hurting when I got home from all that walking. Last year, I would have begged to get back in the car, and drive over to the next store.
2. Closely related to #1, October 12th is only 7 weeks away. I'm so ready for the trip to Vegas so I can vegg out on vacation.
3. School starts next Monday and I'm anxiously waiting for it. I have not seen many of the students all summer long and I'm very curious whether they'd recognize me, since the majority of my weight loss was during the summer - thanks to that last adjustment in June.
4. Last but not least, my friends here on OH. Sometimes the days get rough at work, and a little giggle here and there makes it seem better.
Have a wonderful day! It may be a very busy one for me today - we have a few projects that need to get out the door.

I am so proud of you! Wooo hoooo on the trip to Las Vegas I have never been there but maybe next year will be the year for me. I can relate with the giggles it does brighten my day when I need it.
Today I am grateful for:
1. That Gino's surgiversary is today and he has done great with no complications.
2. That our food bill is not like it was 2 years ago. lol
3. I have to bite your #4
Have a wonderful day and I hope you stay cool.

Stay cool? OMG - when I first met Darla and Kathy at a quarter auction last year - they were cold, and I was like sheesh - yeah, like I'll never be cold. I used to always be hot. They told me I'd get cold, just wait. Hubby will swear that I used to turn on the AC on in the winter! Right now the office is 70 degrees inside and I'm wearing long sleeves and I'm freezing! LOL - what a big change. Hubby's happy that I don't have the thermostat set for 68 degrees like I used to. It's okay at 72 degrees.
LOL isn't it amazing? I used to freeze my hubby to death all the time and he always had a cold. Now he thanks God that I barely turn on the AC. I keep my AC at 78 degrees It feels cold to me at night and I get under a quilt and sheet. The kids are sweating and me I am freezing. lol When I was working at Verizon I was wearing long sleeve shirts and a sweater at the office everyone was looking at me like I was nuts. lol
I meant stay cool if you are outside.

Good morning all:
I don't always post on this thread but I think it would be good to do it.
1) Even though he can get on my last nerve sometimes I am very grateful that I have my hubby.
2) That I will be going to Severna Park after work to take my granddaughters out to dinner and to shop for a new outfit for the new school year.
3) All my blood work was normal except my vit D was a little low. I already take 3 calcium citrate with D daily but my doctor gave me a Rx for a D supplement.
4) that I found this great forum at the beginning of my journey, made many new friends and that I am still here to give and receive support.

Good morning Gail,
I am glad your doctor gave you an RX for the Vitamin D. I was low on Vit D 2 years ago and DVR told me to take a vitamin D addition to the two calcium citrate with D. It has been great since. Hopefully this will do the trick for you and when it goes back to normal make sure to buy an over the counter vitamin D and take it on a daily basis to keep your D up. It is also important to sit outside in the morning like 15 minutes to get the sunlight to up your Vit D too.
Have fun with your grand daughters today! I am so glad you are still here with us.
Have a great day!
