Silly me I hit the wrong button and didn't finish my last post.
I heard from the California Department of Insurance yesterday. I thought rather quickly, especially when they told me it would take at least 10 business days to get my case assigned to an investigator. they recieved my complaint on August 12 and the letter was dated August 13.
They have opened an investigation and will let me know what they discover and my case could be open for at least 60 days.
I have a curious question:
As many of you know my doctor diagnosed me with having 2 ministrokes in the last 6 months.
my question is can one eye be effected by a mini stroke. The reason for the queary is that since I had the last episode my left eye has not seemed quite right. It constantly feels like there is something in it or a piece of it is sticking to my outer lid. I do have an eye appointment on thursday after work and plan on asking the dr then.
was just curious if anyone here may have any insite at all.
will be in and out periodically all day.

Lori, I have the done the same thing quite a few times. What I did learn is that you can go back in your post and click on the edit button at the bottom and finish what you was writing and edit what you like. That will save you from starting another post.
As for a TIA affecting the eyes it does happen but with a mini stroke the blurred vision or double vision usually goes away within minutes or hours. if you feel like there is something bothering your eye maybe it is something else. But I am not sure I am not a physician or play one on TV. LOL I was a paramedic years ago and am speaking from past experience.
The good thing is that you are seeing an eye doctor on Thursday so he or she might shed some light on that. One thing I want you to do is to be very aware of any weird feeling you might get in the future and do not waste any time to getting to the hospital asap. Because a person who has a TIA can get a major stroke within 3 months from that last mini stroke.
Please take very good care of yourself and also stay very hydrated. Good luck and keep us posted.
