Hello all from Maryland

I had my Lap-Band surgery in South Jersey but have been in Maryland for about 4 years now.  I would love to go to support groups and stuff like that but I don't know anything around here. 

Also, I have not had a follow up visit in about 3 years b/c my insurance won't cover it here.  Go figure.  I don't have any problems or anything but follow ups are always good to make sure you don't develop any.

what part of south jersey? i grew up in hammonton. do u miss it? i still do and have been here 9 years LOL

Oh snap.  I lived in May Landing.  Did you go to oakcrest???  Too funny.  I miss it sometimes but I love Maryland.  There is so much more here...more to do...more to love.  I live in Perry Hall.  Nice to meet you.  :-)

Welcome to the MD forum!!!   Congratulations on doing great and keeping the weight off even without going for follow ups.  That is fantastic. You look great and you have a beautiful family. 
Where do you live in MD?  I used to live in Laurel for 8 years and 2 in Odenton by Fort Mead Base.  I moved to the easter panhandle of WV an hour and a half from from my old place.

So glad that you are doing great.  This is a wonderful place you have found. Keep us posted.

Welcome to the Maryland board.   Sorry I was not here sooner but my hubby joined those on the losers bench today so i've been a bit busy.  In fact, I'm still at the hospital.

It's a great bunch of people here, lots of support and very knowledgable.
