I decided to try to cook A yes one crab leg, took a piece of alum foil, put some butter and old bay on it, placed frozen leg on wrapped it up, tossed on grill,, 15mins later, (grill was 400-450deg) had a yummy crab leg dinner. Thanks for the food lion find!!!!!!!!!!  It blows my mind one stinking leg fills me up.

The center body section,,,, is it edible? The leg broke off, so I assume the others will also, leaving me the center.

Hey send me the rest since you get filled with only one. LOL

I wasn't allowed to eat yet at 2 weeks post op I was starting full liquids then.  I am glad that it went well and it agreed with your pouch!  Whech center part are you talking about? Was it the leg with the claws or the other leg?

if it is the leg with without the claw there is a tiny bit of meat in the center section it is about 1 inch long right?

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I broke off a leg, the center body did not break. You know how with blue crabs you can sometimes pull the meat with the leg or claw, if not you have to pick it out of the body,, is it worth it when all I have is the body to cook and pick it?

Yea all the docs are sooooo different, I usually do two shakes, and try some sort of "solid" food for one meal.

Crap!  I was just at Food Lion and totally forgot about the snow crab!  Guess I'll have to stop on my way home tomorrow too!

Sounds yummy!

It was very good,  melted a little butter to help it slide down easier.

Yea, it blows my mind to.  At St Michaels/Oxford biking last weekend and had to order a sample plate.  Still had leftovers.  I'am a cheap meal now.  I miss the good old days - 6 -8 crabs, pitcher of beer and corn fritters.  Hell, one crab cake baseball last  4 meals now. I have to take a "cold" pack with me now.  Any eats will have leftovers.
Good luck

Hey Tom - glad that worked out so well for you now.  I can't imagine ever being satisfied with one leg... I can usually do 3 or 4 clusters!!! lol.   I imagine crab is a very 'easy' meat to digest.

Yes, just like blue crabs, the center body section IS edible... i don't find I get much meat out of that area tho.

SALE ENDS TODAY for anyone who still wants to get some.  I bought 4 bags for my freezer. :)
