Good Morning all:

I think Tia is at the Dr's this morning so I'll get things going.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  That my parents had a wonderful weekend in Ocean city with my brother

2.  That Petsmart was able to groom Cuddles for me yesterday with no appt.

3.  That I didn't pass out when I tried to walk home from NTB yesterday.
I only walked about a mile before my sister picked me up !  LOL  I measured the
distance later and was disappointed :  I thought I had walked further.

So have a good day everyone

Good morning Darla,

So glad to read that your parents had a great time in OC!!  I am sure Cuddles is thanking you for getting groomed. Yesterday was a HOT day not a day to walk so much.  Try another time when it is pleasant out there and you will be amazed as to how much you will be able to walk.

Today I am grateful for:

1. I had a wonderful weekend with my daughter Jessie, her BF and my grand daughter.  They stayed for the weekend and we had a BBQ and a fun time in the pool and and watching movings and havign some yummy drinks and some wine.

2. For a day at the salon!  I am so glad I finally chopped off my hair. My duahgter Jess was there to hold my hand. lol I am donating 20 inches to locks of love. I have two ponytails to send in honor of my Mom. I am happy that a cancer patient can make use of the hair.

3. Helen, I spoke with her yesterday and her spirit is a bit better.  She made me laugh yesterday. I am praying that she gets better soon.  I can't wait to see her back on the board.

Have a wondeful day everyone.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Yep, I was at the doctor's this a.m.  She said it appears to be a strained/pulled/whatever muscle pushing on the nerve, therefore the horrific burning sensation I was having.  I was miserable!  The Flexiril really helped, which just reinforces that it was muscle and not nerve related.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  K's sleepover was an awesome success!  This was to make up for her disappointing bday party, where no one showed up - even those who had RSVP'd.  It was just her 3 BFF's, but I swear to God, those girls ate like they were linebackers!!  They stayed in the pool until 1:30 and didn't go to bed until 6 yesterday morning!!  Imagine their surprise when I got them up at 8:30 for breakfast, as one of the girls had to leave at 9!!!  LOL!!  Then, they all went back to bed.  They played dress-up (there are feathers from boas EVERYWHERE!!), and played with makeup.  Well, when I say played, I mean they used it like war paint!!  No one had makeup where it was supposed to be!!!  But they giggled and screeched all night!!  Everyone was SO well behaved and SO polite.  It reinforced what I always tell KB, "It's better to have a few close friends than a lot of not so close!"

2.  Flexiril - Much as I didn't want to, I just had to pop a half, as it was bothering me after it being manipulated a bit by the doctor.  Apparently, the culprit is my purse!!  SIGH.  And I HATE purses that I have to hold in my hands, but that's how it's got to be.  I have to go for just one spot of PT tomorrow - the doctor thinks that will do the trick.  Cross your fingers.

3.  That I got to see Helen yesterday.  I had a crazily busy weekend and after I fed the girls yesterday, I let out Heather's dog, Rossie, and then came to work and then went home, slapped on some makeup and went to visit Helen.  I'll post separately about that.  But I'm really glad I went to see her!!

Have a great day!

Tia, you may want to consider taking that kitchen sink out of your purse.  Maybe you'll feel better.  If not, you could always buy one of the few purple purses JCP has!  LOL

Two steps ahead of you, Sorbi!  I unloaded my purse on Friday and have several purple ones at home.  Trust me, one thing I'm NOT lacking in is purses!!

I will be experiencing some shoulder issues starting next week.  Usually the first couple of weeks of school - and then afterwards, I'm good to go.  SIGH, I'm "really" looking forward to that part, but I tell you what makes it better - I won't be huffing and puffing like an asthmatic since I'm almost 90 pounds lighter than last fall.  GRIN!!!!
