You've captured my sentiments exactly! I don't know how sucessful I would be at this point if I hadn't had the support and knowledge of the members of the board. Like you, I feel as if I've found some lifelong friends and have grown to see this board as support for life and not JUST WLS.

As a longtime back pain sufferer and flexeril taker...don't take it if you have something that you need to accomplish. Do you remember Sixteen Candles when the sister took 2 before her wedding...yep, you go it...it can make you loopy. Only take it when you can hang out near a couch or bed! Mine was prescribed with both Naproxin and Lortab (Hydrocodone) and although I no longer take the Naproxin, the combo of Flexeril and Lortab is enough to allow me to sleep somewhat comfortably!

Edited to add some gratefuls:
1. For spending time with family yesterday. I don't get to see my sisters very often and got to see 3 of them yesterday...after seeing the other two over the weekend. Awesome!
2. For not having to work today. This cold has grown larger and is kicking my a$$, I'm happy to be able to not do much today!

Actually, I'm only in pain when I'm awake. No pain at all sleeping. Last night, I was on the phone with Darla and the pain grabbed me so bad that I cried out! Lord knows what she THOUGHT I was doing!!! LOL!!!
I've got to be semi-awake for tomorrow, but tonight, Flexiril and I will be buds!!!

Flexiral is not a pain killer it is a muscle relaxer.... Yes you can get loopy from it. Just don't go meeting any guys while on it. lol
Today I am grateful for:
This wonderful place that has been a home to me for almost 4 years. Sometimes there are a few people that come along make this home a bit uncomfortable, but I push forward and avoid the negativity. I love to be here to pay forward and give the support that people originally comes here for.

I truly believe in a group of people like this forum, or even in a family, every person has a role or position that just seems to match that individuals personality . I feel that you are the heart of the group. You are always willing to help anyone, and you never mind going the extra mile. You answer any question, whether it is about WLS or personal. Meeting you (on this board, soon face to face) has helped me in ways that you will never know. You never pass judgment and truly you are one amazing person.
