Gail,

thankfully peanut M and Ms never did it for me.  there will be other things I'm sure.

as for the beach the last weekend in September is too soon after my surgery for me to be going out of town.  I found out today I can't go out of town for a month.  I have to even cancel my florida trip.  UGH.

have fun without me this time

((( Gail )))

Peanut M & M's are one of my guilty pleasures .. both pre and post-op.  Being the good NASCAR fan that I am .. and with the dislike I have for the driver of the M & M car, I have managed to stay away from them for a while .. lmao .. and of course now I have the added bonus of the braces keeping me from putting some things in my mouth!

As long as you use moderation, it's probably better to have a taste of the things you crave rather than deprive yourself then go on a binge that brings on massive dumping and/or guilt.

I would love to go to the beach that weekend, but we have tickets to see the Bacon Brothers on Saturday night and I've whined and carried on long enough about seeing them, that Mr Mo would strangle me if I backed out now.   We also have an event with Mack the fire truck for Sunday, so the weekend is pretty well filled up.   I promise I WILL get there one of these times.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
