To everyone who posted their offers of financial assistance and PM'd me with the same regarding Helen/Grammom.

I bought her a nice nightgown at Walmart last night - they're starting to bring out winter pj's already *rolling eyes,* so I only got her one.

I'll be seeing her tonight and taking her some protein bars, a few shakes and a box of Crystal Light so she can try them out and see what she likes.  

If I find out that there's something else she needs that I can't take care of, I'll let you all know.

I feel really bad

Feel bad because you missed it?  That's okay, it was a late afternoon post.

Or....you feel bad because she's had so many issues?  Yeah, me, too, but the good thing is, I think she's on the upswing!!  Her attitude remains upbeat, at least!

Prayers are the only thing you can do right now.  I'm hoping everything is okay.  I spoke to this surgeon last week, and she scheduled me for next week.  I won't know anything that day, they will have to send for pathology, but it is always frightening (the not knowing part). 
I'm still hoping to make it to your brother's house for the picnic.  Please keep me posted.  I'll be out of the office on Thursday and Friday, so make sure you post the info again at the beginning of next week so that I can right it all down.

And on top of all of this.  I have gained about 7 lbs.  I know it's stress eating, but I have got to stop!!!!

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry.  I agree that the not knowing is the worst.

I know you haven't been around much, and for good reason, but I've had to cancel/postpone the potluck due to a variety of issues.  However, some of us are still going to try to get together that day for steamed crabs up my way.  I'll keep you posted.

Should I not see you then, I was going to suggest a get-together at the Queenstown Outlets so we can come down, get our PC stuff, do some shopping and maybe have lunch.

We'll talk before next week!
