MORE TO LOVE!
I'm not a reality tv fan, unless it's "Cake Boss," but something has drawn me to "More to Love" the past few weeks.
I don't WANT to watch it, but like a train wreck, I'm just drawn to it. This week didn't disappoint. The bachelor took 12 or so of the girls to a "prom," because so many of them were ostracized by their weight and didn't ever attend one in high school.
I am just so disheartened by the level of desperation of these poor women - all of whom are gorgeous. They also showed them in bathing suits - they were crying, many of them mortified at having to put on a bathing suit in front of a man and worse, other women. In part, my discomfort with this stems from my own feelings of rejection, etc. - I could SO relate. But many of them are SO young and say, "This might be my last chance at love!" WTF??!!!! If that's true, at 42, I am screwed!!
I'm not really sure (beyond the ratings factor), WHAT the developers of this show were hoping to achieve, but in my mind, they've failed miserably.
The other unappealing factor? All of these women, at some point, have made out with this man (not sure how far the intimacy has gone), but I DON'T SHARE!!!!!!
Ugh!!
Thoughts?

The making out thing isn't exclusive to this show; that's the same in the other Bachelor and Bachelorette shows.
I have never seen the show itself but the guy himself seems a bit out of shape. So, is the message that if you are bigger, you can find love, but only with somebody else who's bigger? So, the "normal" people get their own show to find their "normal" mate. Which is laughable since the very first Bachelor turned out to be a domestic abuser.
I might have to watch at least one show now, like you said, it;s like a bad accident. Horrific but you have to look.
I wouldnt even turn it on just because of the title of the show. There is no way im going to let my daughter see something like that and think she has to settle or take what she can get. No way.
Watch something inspiring like Ruby. She annoys me at how she seems to whine a lot but all in all she's inspiring and its a good clean show.

Tia, I agree with you 100%! First of all, Who would want that guy after watching him make out with every girl on the show, not to mention who works behind the scenes! To me, the worst part is it takes every stereotype of heavy people, and makes it seem like are reality. No one will love a heavy person, date a heavy person, and especially no one would ask a heavy girl to prom! Then to make matters worse, the girls are always crying about their lives, and how they have been treated! I have never seen a episode of the Bachelor, and I have only seen More to Love once. It really is amazing how much disgust one can muster after one episode. So here is my review of the show Leslie
Tia, I don't remember what night it is on, BUT GO OUT! Do no****ch! The more people tha****ch, the more shows they will have. Watch something positive about all people, not something that might have a chance to make you feel bad about yourself! Try Kate plus eight, (or whatever it's called) you will feel great about yourself and your life! LOL Are you :) yet? Leslie
