Tom Update
Welcome home Tom...not too bad of an experience. Sorry about the Dilaudad...I had morphine in my pain pump and wa****ting that button constantly but it made me itch like the dickens. The Dilaudad is what they put me on when the morphine ran out and it wasn't too shabby either.
I accepted your request on FB and welcomed you to the Loser's Bench!!

No Matter How I May Change, I Will Still Be ME!!!!
Well, I'm not close to where I "should" be or even "want" to be, but I can say that I feel alive.
Because without a doubt, had I not had the surgery, I wouldn't be here to brighten your day every day!!!
Seriously, having lost 140 pounds give or take, has enabled me to do things I physically or mentally couldn't have before. No aches, pains, extra meds, etc. - not something you can even put a price on.
Clear as mud, huh?

Clear as the chocolate peanutbutter shake I am drinking now.
When I was 230lbs 18months or so ago, I don't really remember feeling too different. BUT I have always had a physical job. I am not long distance, but toss a 80-100lb ladder on my shoulder and carry it out of the job was never a problem. Now I can say I perspire more now, so it must make a difference.
When I hit my 200lb mark I will see how I feel then.
Thanks,
Tom
