thanks Cira for the update......I'm such an awful angel. LOL

She says she is doing a little better.  The doctor put in a JP drain and it is getting rid of the stuff that was accumaliting inside.  They found that the infection was deep inside and they think that she might have had this infection from before.  She is otherwise doing well from the RNy surgery and she has lost 20 pounds.  She doesn't want the newbies to freak out and wants to reassure them that this has nothing to do with her surgery.

Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She sends her love to everyone.  She only has Ron that visits her and she told her sister that her OH family ask or calls her more than her own sister does.

Thanks Aaron and Cira for the update. I am so sad that her family has treated her this way. Please let her know that I am praying for her and have been keeping her in my thoughts. I hope that she will start to feel better really soon. That's great she has lost the 20 pounds  but man has she been through so much. Hugs  to you and get well soon...

Thanks for the update on Helen. I feel terrible that she had to go through an infection, and extra time in the hospital. Hopefully she is on the mend and will be able to go home soon. Tell her we are all thinking about her, and she remains in our prayers All my best, Leslie:)

This site is awesome just for the fact that we can have beautiful people like you Tom and Cira to keep others updated regarding our recovery and progress.  I am so thankful that this site exists.

I'm so sorry that helen is having a little rough time of it right now. I pray that once this is over she can be free to enjoy her new life and that she will have smooth sailing as she continues her recovery process.

Congrats on losing the 20 Helen, i remain a step behind you -- to date, i've lost 17.
