POTLUCK - POSTPONED/CANCELLED

Hey guys!

I'm really sorry, but due to a lot of cir****tances beyond my control (financial and otherwise), I'm going to have to shelve the idea of the potluck/pool party on the 23rd.  There's a lot going on - hence, Darla switching roles and pulling ME off the ledge this a.m.  Thank you for that, Darla.  I'm a lucky girl to be able to pick up the phone and be rescued immediately.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities to reschedule for sometime in September, as it's often quite warm even into October.  I'll be sure to post something if we can do it then.

For those of you looking forward to it and especially those of you who were so generous in offering me your assistance, I'm really sorry.

If anyone is interested, we could probably still get together that day.  Al's Seafood Restaurant in Essex has AUCE crabs/crab soup for $22.95 and they have a lot of other entrees as well. 

Let me know if anyone is interested, and again, I'm really sorry to disappoint you.

I am truly sorry to hear you are having a hard time and have to cancel (or postpone) your event.  I know how much you enjoy entertaining and partying with friends.

I will hold good thoughts that things improve quickly for you.

Tia - sorry to hear about the snafus - and yeah, I could go for some crabs!  How are their crabs?  Are they big?  I requested that evening off, so hopefully I'll be able to get there on time.  What time are we talking about?  The same time as was the potluck?

Tia, Its OK. Don't worry or feel bad. Life Happens. You are a strong woman and things will get better as they usually do. We have all been in the same place you are I am sure. I am sure there will be another time for a get together and as you know absence makes the heart grow fonder. I hope you will feel better soon and if I can help just let me know. I am here for you.
