RNY to DS Revision

Anyone on the Maryland Board had a revision from RNY to DS?

Just wondering what Doctor performed your revision..

I cannot find anything local on the revision board.

I haven't heard of an RNY to DS - but I have heard of RNY to Stomaphyx and Dr. Averbach at St. Agnes supposedly does those types of surgery.  Quite minimally invasive I hear.  Just a thought.

Dr. Schweitzer at Bayview does revisions - not sure of all of the types, but I know for a fact he did a lap band to sleeve recently on a board friend.

Also, Dr. David von Rueden at St. Agnes does revisions.

Problem with Schweitzer is that he is only doing the DS in 2 stages anymore so I don't know how he feels about revisions.

Your best source of info would be the DS board....they have SO much knowledge to share... you can also check www.dsfacts.com which is owned by one of the DS members.

I've contacted Dr. Schweitzer's office.  He is now doing the Stomaphyx, and will meet with me to discuss my options.

I knew I could count on my Maryland board for help! 

Just wondering why you are looking for a revision?  We have the same Dr.

I've put on some weight over the last several months, and am looking at my options.  I have an appt. with Dr. K in a few weeks.  I am sure he will not be a happy camper.

Like I said, just looking at my options for helping me get this weight back off.. I am hoping he will run some tests on my pouch, since I do not feel full anymore and can eat more than usual.

Will you let me know what he says as this is a growning concern of mine?
