3 THINGS FOR MONDAY
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Today is Tom's surgery day! I'm having some car a/c issues (of all days!!!!), so I won't make it up to see him, but once I hear from his wife, I'll let you all know. I spoke with him late last night - he's excited and ready to rock!!
2. My Mom - Like I said, my car a/c decided it didn't want to live any longer, and I wasn't going to get it fixed because honestly, I don't have the $. Enter.......Super Mom to the rescue!!! She said I can pay her back, but I know how that goes. She'll say, "You buy groceries and take me places...blah, blah, blah." That's usually how we play that - all of us - thank God.
3. My Aunt Sue - She came over yesterday to hook up my computer, got everything hooked up in record time, but clearly, something's wrong because all it did was beep at her. She's a retired IT person, so I trust her. Sigh. She's going to pick up the computer today and take it to Best Buy for me.
My glass is generally half-full, but I'm getting a bit tired of all of this!!!! At least the a/c is working inside and I don't have to work outside. Remember to water your mailman! And if you have animals that like to go outside, keep an eye on them and keep them hydrated, too! Nothing ticks me off like irresponsible pet owners! DO NOT leave your animals outside today!!!

And geez, that computer doesn't exactly sound like a best buy LOL.
I had a pretty good weekend myself. Was busy working Friday night and Saturday all day - then went out with my girlfriends to Charlestown Saturday night. Got up Sunday not feeling "it", so I called out, ate breakfast, and went back to bed. Didn't wake up until 4 PM!
I'm excited for Tom! Whoot Whoot!!!!
I'll email you his last name, AJ!! His surgery's at 8, and I'm thinking barring any complications and recovery room time, he should be in his room by 2 or so. Thanks, sweetie!!!
Nope, car's not under warranty anymore - it's 7 years old. Thank God, this falls under "normal" stuff. I'll definitely be getting another Hyundai when it's time for a new one - let's just hope it's in about 10 years!!!
I DID buy all the insurance/warranties, etc. with the 'puter.
So since you're not emailing from the Carib, I assume that although Charles Town was fun, it wasn't a success?? LOL!!! And BTW, Cira lives minutes from there.

2. For the nice weather yesterday morning: wasn't too hot and Cuddles and I took
a nice long walk!
3. For time spent with friends this weekend!
4. A Good book: reading one now I can not put down!

Tom is SUCH a nice guy! No ulterior motives, he wants to succeed at wls, and I honestly believe he will! Add that to the fact that he's a man and will undoubtedly lose pretty fast, and I could easily hate him!!!!
Yes, I LOVED the movie! So much in fact, that once I'm back on my feet (thank you, car), I might take Mom to see it.
And next time - warn me, wouldja? It was okay, but not nice to surprise me that way! Boxer woulda kilt you!! LOL!!

Maybe we can both take our Mom's and do lunch and the movie.
And as far as the surprise : Sorry but I've been so busy have not seen her in a couple weeks-
had you come to dinner I had a gag ready for her LOL! She doesn't have a lot of friends
and I didn't see the harm in a movie LOL Of course I didn't think you'd end up sitting
next to her.
Well, vent as much as you need to to her - that's what she's there for!
Okay, we'll see about the movie. Lots going on the next couple of weekends!! PHEW!!
And the surprise was fine, honestly. Not a lot of friends? Wonder why? Seriously - I mean, she seems pretty outgoing. And movies work because you don't talk during them. But I wish someone had told the young girl behind me who giggled THROUGHOUT the movie - even at the parts that weren't funny!!!! *rolling eyes!*

And then would have sit on the opposite end! LOL!
1. i went to a cat show saturday and sunday with lucky cat rescue. the first day, no one adopted my kittens but sunday two of them went home. it was an emotional time for me but a very happy one as well. I can't wait to find a home for my little erin. her and two other kittens from the show are relaxing in my basement. Poor things need some time to relax!
2. this is a short week for me and I am going to my parents this weekend. they are having a party at a friends house on saturday and i think we will go to the beach on sunday. it's august and i still have not gotten to the beach!
3. had dinner with my husband, who current is not living w/ me. he unfortunately got laid off this past week, which is very stressful for him. we did talk about our relationship and we will continue to meet and talk about the stuff we need to address before we decide to move back in. but he still loves me and wants to work it out. i definitely still love him. so i am hopeful.
