Well I got home Thursday evening from the hospital. They took me off my Diabetes Meds.  :)
They want me to do heprin 3 times aday,They wanted me to use lovenox but $2000 for the perscription kinda killed that. The social worker at the hospital did however get the heprin for me at no charge and she Faxed the makers of lovenox to get that for no charge. We shall see if they will Monday.Im feeling good but really starting not to look forward to a popcicle. The only pain I have is when I cough and sneeze.I have to hold a pillow or my hands over my stomach.Im looking forward to tomorrow when I can go full liquids.

Id like to thank-you all for your well wishes.
Cira S. Thanks for becomming my angel.

I had to do the heperin too. I had a hard time finding it. I am glad the social worker was able to help you out with that. It sounds like things are moving along just great for you - Congratulations!

Andy Welcome home!!   Congratulations on already not having to take your diabetes medication. I am so happy for you.

I spoke with Brenda and the hospital number that she gave me was incorrect. So glad that you are home doing well.

Big hugs to you!

It an honor to be your angel!

Welcome home!  I give you props for being able to do your own injections!  PHEW!  Had a hard enough time in nursing school...guess that's why I changed my major!  LOL!

Each new stage of eating is wonderful and I remember those days well.  Remember...sip, sip, sip...walk, walk, walk!!!

WELCOME HOME ANDY!  I know you are thrilled that the surgery is over. Now, your journey begins, it really is so exciting! That's great news about your Diabetes meds, I left the hospital still taking my meds. I think I took the meds until I was 1 month out. Here's to a speedy recovery, and a fantastic WL journey!  Leslie:)

Welcome Home Andy!!  And welcome to the bench!

That's awesome about your diabetes meds!  I'm glad the social worker is able to get you some assistance; meds are just so outrageously expensive.

Good luck on full liquids!  Let us know if you need anything!

Hugs,

Tia
