Hey Darla!  HIJACK!

If you're still feeling funked out, maybe you should swing by JC Penneys and check out the purple purses!!!!!!  Maybe you'll feel better!

If that doesn't work, how about the fact that the Ravens preseason starts next Thursday?!?  Time to turn your car back into a diplomatic looking vehicle with flags a'waving!

Morning all!

Welcome back WT!  Gald to hear your pain is subsiding!!!  Codeine and me aren't a great match either..give me some dilaudid and it's all good!!  Heh!

Today I'm grateful...

1.  To have the day off after putting in waaaaayyyyy more than 40 hours this week!  Driving up to L.A. during non-traffic hours is a GOOD thing!

2.  Three more days 'til I see my furbabies again!  Although I'll have fun with the sisters, I miss being home!

3.  That Mike has a little bit of side work to do...nice change of pace.

4.  For all of my friends...love ya girlz!

Good weekend all!
Heather

Julie -

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom's MRSA.  My Dad had it, and it can respond well to antibiotics, so let's hope they have her on some.  Just remember to tell each and every health care provider that she's had it.  From what I was told, if you've had it within a year, it's still considered active.  If she ever has to be admitted to a hospital room, it will either guarantee her a private room (isolation) or a room with someone else who has also had a history of it.

Have you tried Coke Zero?  I don't drink soda hardly at all, but when I want one, that's what I have.  IMO, there's NOTHING like a good old fashioned fountain Coke!!  SIGH.  Now that I'm post-op, though, it's Coke Zero when I HAVE to have soda.

I'm glad you're getting away this weekend, and I KNOW you need it.

Hugs,

Tia

Thanks Tia I have not tried the coke but I sure will this weekend. I also have heard that coke is coming out with Sprite sweetened with Stevia instead of Splenda. They tell me it is in Chicago and New York right now. I will remember about the MRSA. They have her on Cipro and I hope this works. I hope you feel better and have a nice weekend...

NP!  They also make a Cherry Coke Zero, a Sprite Zero and a Fanta Orange Zero!

Cipro is pretty strong and SHOULD work.

I already do feel better, thanks!!!  Once I'm healed and can chew gum again, I'll be even better!

BTW, Cira said the two of you talked!  I'm glad - she's a good friend to have.

Hugs,

Tia
