Must have been a reason

I stopped at the local Fed ex location this morning on my way to work to fax and send express my appeal to the Health Insurance Company.  They were supposed to open at 7:30 and I got there 7:45 to find the place dark and locked.  I didn't have time to wait
or to find another location before work so I thought there must be a reason for this.  I thought that I should go through all of the information that I have compiled.  I have since sorted it out, redone the appeals letter and found that the address that was listed in the denial letter was different than the one I should be sending the appeal to.

(I called the Insurance Co to see if there was a special individual that the letter should be addressed to.)

Any way I have all of my packets together
two for faxing and two for mailing.

I can fax to Obesitylaw.com and the health insurance co.  The department of Insurance in California does not have a fax number listed.

If I send things express everyone should have the packets by tuesday.

Insurance reviews in 15 calander days and sends reply with in 30 days.

Thats the latest update on my progress.

have a great week end everyone

Tia:

Thanks.  I got to thinking about all of the information that I have gathered over the past few months and the research I have done on how to prepare an appeals letter.  Then I decided to not include all of my amunition at one time.

I will appeal on medical necessity and provide the
needed documentation for the first appeal.

Then if/when the next appeal level is needed I will have more to use.  More like kill them with kindness mentality, if you know what I mean.

why show all of your cards the first hand? right?

I honestly feel that the worst that will happen with the whole process is I have to wait until renegoiations in Jan/Feb and see if they get the exclusion listed and have to do all of the testing over again.

In the mean time I am pluging along and taking things as much in stride as possible.

there are worse things to worry about in this world.

que serah serah

what do they say about carpentry work... measure twice cut once.

You are doing a great job of being proactive in this matter Lori.

I truly hope it all pays off for you.
