3 things for Thursday

Good Morning Everyone;

Tia texted me that she is not going into work and is turning off her cell so if you
try and call or text thats why shes not responding!  Shes stil in a lot of pain from
the tooth pulling the other day.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  Its almost Friday!!!!!

2.  That I managed not to take the xanax last night :  thats some powerful stuff and I don't
want to get addicted to it.

3.  That I finalized some vacation plans.  Kathy T and I are going to stay with my brother
in Jacksonville in October:  for those that don't know Our Cruise to lose cruise got
cancelled so we decided to go somewhere else instead!.  And since its my brother
all its going to cost is airfare and car rental .  We are going to meet one of the
people we met on last years cruise one  day while we are there.

So have a good day everyone and send some good thoughts Tia's way
I talked to her for a few minutes last night and she sounded awful- and
from her text this morning its not any better

Morning Marylanders!

My three things are....

1.  It's Friday eve and I'm off tonight.
2.  Sales abound at JC Penneys - I swear they time the sales right around our paydays!

3.  That Tia is still alive from that extraction, I hope she feels better sooon!!!!!
4.  I'm glad that Darla and Kathy are headed to sunny waters in October!  I know you guys were disappointed when the cruise got cancelled, and look at it this way- one cancelled cruise equals more fun at lower costs! 
5.  That I have this board to lurk amongst and giggle.  You guys make it well worth it to stop through here and give up my 2 cents!

I plan to spend the early part of October in Tampa (recovering from my surgery)

We have approval and I have a TENTATIVE date of 9/22.  (Brian's having his on 8/18 btw)

It's not formalized yet so I have not wanted to announce it.

Since my travel to Florida is only dependent on when I can leave I know I'm going down as soon as my drains are pulled and DVR gives me the permission to go (we will be driving).  I had already discussed it with the staff that it would be ok for me to go.  My BFF has a house in Tampa and we will drive down for a few days.

Oct 3-10 th -- our friend is in Tampa and shes meeting us halfway in Orlando

that's awesome.  are you guys going to go to Disney World at all?

Darla, Thanks for the Tia update I figured she was in pain. I am so happy to see you are going away. What a nice time to go to Fla. Don't worry about the xanax sometimes we all need a little help.
Candy We love your humor too. I am glad you have off from JC Penney. Do something nice 4 yourself. Thanks for the discount offer you are so sweet.
Today I am grateful for..

1) Momis still alive and kicking. Last night we found out she has MRSA and I am not to happy about that. Now we must wear gowns, gloves and mask while visiting her. I hope this can be treated.
2) Today last day of summer school for my son Steven.
3) Grateful for speaking to a fellow OHer who is just so sweet and understands where I am.
4)I am thankful for all of you who are here and all the support ..

poor tia. i sure hope she feels better soon and has some good pain meds. tell her we are thinking of her.

1. i was actually busy yesterday work wise and i had my second toastmaster speech. i didn't totally suck, which was good and i'm glad it is over.

2. i went to be EARLY last night and enjoyed sleeping in.

3. i plan on bumming when i get home tonight w/ a movie. hopefully i will get energy soon. cat show is this weekend so hopefully my kittens, who are stuck at the petco now, will get adopted. my heart aches for them.
