With The Band? Looking to network!
I am preparing for Lap Band surgery with Dr. Eric Pinnar in Reston, VA on 9/11/09. I'm looking for other people in the DC Metro Maryland area for networking and support. Either people who are post op or pre op, just others who understand this process and what got us here and what's its going to take on the journey!

I'm having lapband surgery on Monday August 10th. I'd be happy for us to network and support one another. I understand how you feel. It wasn't that long ago that I was in your same position.
It's been a fairly painless process for me, but everyone is different. I don't post much, but I've read how supportive everyone is on this forum. If you have specific lapband questions that can't be answered here, you can always go to the surgical forum for lapband.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Hoping that my focus is right to stay on track. I have 183lbs to lose according to my Dr. but I would be happy losing 150ish. 1lb at a time though.
I do think I will need the most support on the liquid portion especially before surgery.
