Warm Wednesday ~ A Daily check in thread....

Morning everyone.

How is everyone this lovely summer day?

I'm up and at work at 6:30,  looking forward to lunch with Sylvie and my BFF...

tons of stuff for me to deal with at work today but since some of it is time dependent (i.e  I have to call Honolulu) I have to wait a few hours....

Dinner last night was a bloody disaster.  Older son was planning on one thing, plans got changed and he can't adjust so he was behaving badly.  Girl Child got an upset stomach.  Dad ordered food that he did not care for.  UGH.   just not a good night.

Hannah may have Lyme disease.  It also could be her thyroid.   we are waiting on blood work.

I heard on the news this morning that it will be 96 degrees on MONDAY... finally a Baltimore summer temperature that I understand.

oh well off to save the world...

what's up in your corner of the galaxy today?

Relatively quiet for me today - work, then Ranesa at the end of the day. Depending on how long I am at that appointment, i may hit the gym for a little afterward. I have been avoiding the treadmill for too long.

Have a good day everyone!

Sorry about your dog. I hope she gets better soon. Hey why call Honolulu why not we all board a plane and go there? Don't take bags or anything just buy it all when we get there. LOL Sounds like fun. Have a nice lunch and stay cool. What times the flight??

OMG Nessa, I am so sorry to hear about Hannah. How long has she been sick, and how long do they say the symptoms continue? They are so helpless, too sad!  Here's to a speedy recovery Hannah, you will be feeling like yourself in no time flat! Sorry you have to go through this with your baby Nessa,  Leslie:)

Good Morning Leslie,

Thanks for the good thoughts for hannah.  she's been a bit off for a few weeks.  WE went through this last year with Bagel who was very very very sick. and we subsequently lost him in September to something that may or may not have been related to the LYME Disease.

She should start feeling better in a few weeks.

I think I will just totally lose it if we can't save her.

OMG I am so sorry hope she will get well soon. Did you find any ticks on her or was it just a bite? Do you all use any preventive flea and tick meds?

I have not found any ticks on her but LYME comes from those very tiny deer ticks so it's hard to see.

she had a flea infestation last spring (over a year ago) and it can take 6 months for Lyme to surface.   Bagel had it last year.  Sadly I am a pro at this.

she gets her shots and frontline so we are not sure why this happened.

Nessa, I know this might sound crazy, but I thought if you kept up with the shots, and used the Frontline,or similar products, the dog or cat couldn't be infested or even get a tick! Am I in la la land to believe this? You had 2 dogs with Lyme, you poor thing. Please keep us posted about Hannah. THANKS, Leslie:)
