3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
((( MOIE )))
Thanks, I did see the message!!! Time flies, yes?? You've been a wonderful friend - even when you're busy, I know you're just a phone call away!
I'm glad the kitties are healing up - poor babies!! Pirate Fest, huh? Maybe we can get little kittie eye patches!!! LOL!!!!
Have a great weekend if I don't talk to you before then!
LY,
T
Tia - I hope you get the relief you need at the dentist today.
Today, I have a funeral to attend this AM. That is why I am still here and able to check in with you all today. I will be leaving in a little while. I will be heading into the office afterward and then pool classes at the gym tonight. So it will be a long day!
Work is finally going much better. My desk is shaping up. I got my PC yesterday and I like the set-up very much. It is a PC with a docking station and an extra desktop monitor. This gives me the flexibility to be portable and work from home if needed as well as in the office. I am finally starting to get my head around my project. I am hoping to making some inroads on it this week. I am slowly adding the little touches to make my desk comfortable. Today I am taking in my hot tea supplies. It is COLD in the office!
Today, I am grateful for....
1 - Cherishing loved ones - This latest death is reminding me how much I cherish my family and friends. I am renewing my efforts to make the most of my time with them.
2 - I received an email that a former co-worker will be in town this weekend. He has been working in Seattle for the last couple of years. An impromptu get-together of the old gang is being planned for this Sunday. I am excited to see everyone.
3 - Gaining confidence - Starting anything new always challenges my confidence in my abilities. As this new job is progressing, I am starting to feel my confidence starting to build. This job will definitely be a challenge for me. But I feel I will be able to do a good job.
Have a super day!
Debbie
Nicole, I hope you start to feel better and hope the therapist helps. I remember when I worked some days it was so hard to drag in. Congrats for making it..
Darla, Thank God for Tia and Xanax glad it helped you. We all need to help our parents and it takes special people to take care of them I know that you qualify and I am sure they appreciate your help.
Mo, Yea for your kitties and it is so nice to have a jib and like it too. Have a great time in Rock Hall.
Debbie, sorry about your loss. I am happy you are going to pool and gym sounds like fun. Enjoy your tea and glad your pc is up and going.
Today I am thankful for
1) Mom has been moved to Georgetown University hospital and they are so kind there and they are shocked how poorly she had been treated at Southern Maryland hosp tail.
2) Mom took several steps with a walker yesterday...
3) My son Steven finally admitted today that he is so upset and stressed about his Granny being in the hospital.
4) I feel more hopeful about Mom now she is at a good place.
5) Thankful for all of you the phone calls, text messages and thoughts and prayers. They mean so much.. Thanks to all of you..
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND TRY TO STAY COOL...
Julie
Julie -
I am SOOOO glad to hear that Mom is doing better. I hope this continues and that there are no further issues. Hopefully, too, now that Mom's at a better facilitiy, YOU will feel better. I know how stressed and worried you've been. Not that you won't continue to worry, but maybe some of the stress will be lifted.
Hang in there!
Hugs,
Tia
I am so glad that your Mom is now in a better place where she will get treated better. I know that has got to be of some relief for you.
Big hugs to you and your son.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
