Morning Marylanders!

I'm excited that it looks like another day with no rain! YAY!!! Now maybe I can grill those steaks outside tonight.

Last night I got to see my 25 yo nephew from North Carolina. He and a buddy drove up to visit the aquarium and do some cycling around Baltimore. They aren't loving the cycling with all the cobblestone streets and such.  Such a good kid, I love him to death. We are more friends than Aunt/Nephew - probably because I was only 14 when he was born.  He shares almost everything in his life with me cuz I'm cool like that... :)  Not a fan of his piercings tho.   His latest is some barbell thing that 'threads' thru the back of his neck and comes out on either side.

Soooooo after camping this weekend and going out with them last night I'm TIRED!  Got to rest and work on laundry tonight.

Dinner was good tho - some place in Catonsville - think the name was G L Shacks Grill?  Never heard of it but great crabcakes and cream of crab soup.

ouch, why do people do that to themselves. the worst i do is ear piercings LOL. glad you had a wonderful time.

I'm too afraid to even pierce my cartlidge.  Have 3 in each ear tho otherwise. :)

Glad you had a great time with your nephew. I think the relationships of Aunts and Uncles with Nephews and Nieces are very special!

I agree Debbie. I don't have kids of my own so I am extra close to the nieces and nephews....

at Johns Hopkins.

Glad you got to spend time with you nephew:  as a proud Aunt of 4 nephews, 4 nieces,
and 2 great-nieces I agree with Deb that being an Aunt can be a Great thing!

I know that my cartilidge piercing hurt badly and there are times it still hurts...  Can't imagine some of the other piercings.  My MIL says nothing that ends in  "it"  oh well....

GL Shacks Grill is very nice.  We've eaten there a few times.

Missed you while you were gone - I'm SOOOO glad you're back and that you survived!!!!

UGH!!  Barbell piercings are AWFUL looking, and they just look sooooo painful, to boot!!  No thank you!!!  Enjoy your visit with him, though, you know how I feel about the Aunt thing!!  It's the best!

These kids are my heart, but you knew that already!  lol.  But Wow, is he growing up.  I hadn't yet sent him money for his birthday last month (I'm a slacker when it comes to mail!) so I bought dinner last night and then wanted to give him some money and he REFUSED...... absolutely would NOT take it.  *sigh* i am so proud of these kids.

Angie, I am with you on no rain. I am glad you had a good time with your nephew. I am sure he enjoyed your company. No thanks on the barbell to much pain. Where did you camp? Was the place any good? Glad you had a nice dinner hope you get to cook your steaks tonight and get yourself some rest.
