3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!

The car she has is a Volvo, and each and every time she's had to replace a tire, she's had to replace all four because they say, "You have all wheel drive and the tread needs to be exactly the same."  That sounds beyond screwed up to me, and like they're trying to make a quick buck off of her, but......

Oh I see!!

What is she gonna do with the volvo use it as a trade in?

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

1. a VERY productive Sunday. Put together a filing cabinet with Jeff and neither one of us wanted to throttle the other by the end of it. Also cleaned out a lot of paperwork, got it ready for shredding and spent 2 hours cleaning out a chest of drawers in the bedroom.

2. Friends: saw The Ugly Truth on Saturday, it was ok. Then lunch at Cosi. The company was definitely better than the movie.

3. My job. I just got a promotion (or got hired into a better position) which means I can drop my second job and start thinking about when we might want to start thinking about trying to have a baby. (Yes, it is that convoluted. We aren't ready to even think about being ready to start trying, y'know what I mean?)

P.S. congrats on 4 YEARS TIA! That's amazing and your scale's still moving downwards. I am in awe of that.

Thanks, Sylvie!!  I'm happy that the scale can even still move downward!!!  But I confess that it's MUCH harder now than initially post-op!  I've worked SO hard since the beginning of July - had I not seen a decrease, I probably would've given up by now!!

OMG!  I hate DIY projects.  And I hate when my parents attempt to do them together.  Fireworks for sure!!  But isn't a nice feeling being productive?

I saw Adam Sandler's "Funny People" on Friday.  I was torn between hating it and loving it.  It was so not something I'd take my Mom to see!!  LOL!!!

And the baby situation isn't convoluted at all - I personally think you're doing it the right way.  Wait....that didn't sound right!!  LOL!!!  You know what I mean!

Have a great day!

Hugs,
Tia

LOL yeah, I know what you meant.

I was glad I didn't take my mom to the Ugly Truth. The Proposal was a lot better for that.

Jeff and I usually get huffy because we both want to take charge, but this was good because there were enough pieces and things to do that we each had our list and then we put it together in the end.

tia,

usually i am the sandwich when i sleep w/ my dog and cats. hazel will be on the right by my head, moosh will be against my back, usually taking up the rest of the bed and puff sits by my feet. other than rolling over on moosh in the morning to get the alarm, i do admit to liking all the fur!

1. had a relaxing weekend. didn't really do much saturday or sunday. almost had one of my kittens adopted. she may still adopt but i won't know til tonight.

2. my kittens, although stuck up in bel air seem to be doing ok in their cage. poor babies! hopefully they will be adopted soon.

3. i got out of bed and to work today. almost didn't make it. and can't wait to leave! LOL

((( Nic )))

It was good to see you Friday night!!!  "Julie & Julia" comes out this Friday and I know we all want to see it, but we'll have to see what's going on.  Seems like Friday is a million miles away!!

I admire you for trying to find homes for these babies!  I think rescue is the way everyone should go!

I hope your workweek is busier than last!

Hugs,

T

Good luck, Nic!  I know you're so torn about this situation, so I hope it works out however you want.

Hugs,

Tia
